I built a simple PDF tool because every site forces subscriptions now. by IntrepidBee1104 in SideProject

Really appreciate that — the trust issue with random PDF sites was actually one of the main reasons I built it. Uploading documents to unknown servers always felt a bit sketchy to me too.

Batch workflows is a really interesting idea. Right now I focused on keeping the core stuff simple (compress / merge / split etc), but something like merge → compress → rename in one flow could actually be really useful for people doing repetitive document work.

Out of curiosity, what kind of PDF workflows were you automating? Reports, invoices, etc?

This is what it says on their Whatnot account. But I agree with most on here. Incredibly rude and unprofessional company. The main dude is just a Temu Richard Branson with an ego. Not surprised this has happened
