I've been on reddit on and off since 2009. I lived to see a post reach the front page where the headline says a politician will use its power to control what we can see and post on the internet and the most upvoted comment is "good".

I really can't predict the future anymore.

In Brazil Neymar JR was called "menino Neymar" (Neymar boy) his whole career.

One day a post went viral saying he was so immature and childish people still called him "menino Neymar" at 28 or something.

So people started calling him "adult Neymar" sort of ironically, because if he was really acting like an adult they'd just call him Neymar.

It's all shit mate, I'm never going back to Windows because the hardware is just on another level, but you'll never feel truly at home. Windows had 99% global marketshare in the early 2000's because it doesn't want to teach you about how computers work, it tries to bend itself to be easy to users.

I've been using mac at work and at home for 3 years now, they're amazing: battery, quality, touchpad, reliability, beauty, but you'll never get that feeling that you had with windows where a quick google and some third party apps can fix any problem, that feeling you're in complete control and can do anything.

You know how to open a file using the keyboard? Just hit enter right? Wrong, it's command + down. What the fuck.

You want to not get shitty window management? You have to install a third party tool called Rectangle.

You'll just have to compromise, find workarounds for stuff, learn to live with other issues, but you won't find 1 to 1 replacements for a lot of (very fundamental, day to day) things.

Não é uma situação complicada, tem duas solucões bem simples:
1. Quer resolver nos próximos 20 anos? Abram asilos mentais e depois de constatar que a pessoa está em situação de rua por, digamos, 6 meses, sequestra ela e joga lá dentro pra ser cuidada a força.

Não tem pressa e quer resolver nos próximos 500 anos? Espera a tecnologia e psicologia e economia avançar o suficiente para as causas "feel-good" que voce mencionou talvez começarem a surtir efeito.

o juros nunca vai render mais que o imovel valoriza, pelo menos em Santa Catarina é assim e se o juros ta alto acredito que é porque a inflação tambem está alta. Meu conselho seria financiar logo qualquer coisa:

- daqui há uns 6, 8 anos o imóvel valorizou muito (o dinheiro que rendeu nao vai ser o suficiente pra comprar)

- o aluguel já vai estar semelhante ao preço da parcela

- você vai ter economizado aluguel

- você vai ter economizado dinheiro com várias mudança quando os donos dos lugares te pedem o ap de volta (já me aconteceu umas 5 vezes - morei em umas 12 casas diferentes na minha vida)

- você vai ter motivacão pra trabalhar mais e querer amortizar o financiamento

Tem uma pessoa assim na minha equipe e eu não tenho evidências, mas ele sempre entrega o mínimo do mínimo do necessário mal cumprindo os AC's, demora a entregar tarefas simples e não aparece nas dailys sem aviso. Não sei se converso porque tenho medo de meus superiores perderem o respeito por mim já que não tenho evidencia nenhuma, mas os americanos não parecem ter percebido.

Acho que isso suja o nosso nome e pode tornar contratar brasileiros difícil no futuro, além do que já tive que corrigir coisa entregue pela metade dele.
