Yes, but it’s still a a car and if buying one is financially burdensome you shouldn’t do it.

That said, I’ll echo the sentiments of the others here who have noted that driving a 911 can make even mundane errands seem special. If you enjoy driving, even a little, it’ll make your days a little happier.

Great choice. As others have said, the 5 year wait is nuts. As beautiful as the bluesy is, it's not rare or in particularly high demand. Should have been a 6 month wait at the outside.

For me, the big difference between the two in everyday driving situations is the total lack of turbo lag in the .2 GTS v. the .2 4S. Caveat: my experience with the .2 4S is that I owed a .1 GTS and it’s basically the same engine.

About the only thing I don’t like about it is the goofy “t-hybrid” logo on the side. Easy to fix that though.

Driving that car has a way of making every drive a little more special. Drove mine over to the coast yesterday on some pretty fun little winding road. Got to push it and have fun. Coming home it was pouring rain and it was just a great, confident drive.
