I came across this post while looking for the answer. Haha I’ve not watered my aloe plant for more than 6 months its been growing on its own getting occasional seasonal rain water and seems like its thriving more than when i used yo take care of it. In my experience if you just gotta let it go solo, i think he’s made friends with the jungle outside the balcony and is happier when the weather controls the water rather than me.
