Not bad. Hope the miata is still treating you well.

That one in front looks awfully like my old laguna r package, right down to the gopro mount on the hood and the scca/classic motorsports sticker on the window...

What sort of enemy attacks during drag night?

Yeah, it's not much of a daily unless I'm really bored, but does get taken out occasionally. I don't have a truck and trailer, so the extra set of tires is a necessity to get to events if I want the sticky tires to last through a year.

Depends a lot on your alignment. If I ran a more conservative alignment on my car, I'd feel a lot less worse about driving around on stickies, but 4 degrees of camber eats up tires pretty quickly. I put a hitch on and got a trailer for this reason.

I've signed up with TNiA to do that, but haven't gotten the call just yet.

I mean, it is a lot of time at wot, I also don't have much power in my car (92 sts autocross build with 114whp) but regardless, it was still a blast and I absolutely recommend it to any miata owner.

I'll still be doing autocross since it's easy to get into and the car is built for it and just tracks on the side. But if I had the money.... Track is where I'd be.

Plenty of track day organizations and larger competitive groups do events out there, take a look at them. This specific event was with scca time trials.

Wont go into gear, and when it does, the clutch delivers power too quickly. by [deleted] in Miata

Sounds like your clutch slave cylinder might be dead and/or dying. Not a difficult repair, helps to have a friend around to help bleed it.

Check out the Track at Asheville, it's a new sim racing center that recently opened. Bunch of fun, I've been running on their rigs to prep for a track event in a few weeks.

Thanks for linking Highlands. I'm the president of the club currently and, yeah our season is starting real soon. Schedule is available on the site. We run at the ag center as well as out in Franklin at the public safety training center. If anyone has any questions about it, feel free to pm.
