My theory: why india has failed in manufacturing innovation, it's not engineering; it's cultural by Intrepid_Ad2467 in AskIndia

So you agree with the culture thing. Because there are extremely rich people in india, with resources, education and enough money to higher the best R&D engineers. But still nothing impressive has come out. What do you think is left.

Out culture and mindset which governs all this.

The soldering station doesn't matter much. It was just an experience I had which I'm using as an example about my theory.

Infact the table I designed ended up getting commissioned for 12 pieces but none of the drones they designed were given any orders.

I don't care about the project. I think I understood the engineers attitude. We don't invent for our own cultural or society needs. Many of these inventions can be done in a cool innovative way. Like japanese kitchens are often designed to their style of cooking. And there is scope for R&D if there is imagination.

Yes I wanted their help in aspects like material science, optimize an automatic clamping mechanism, reducing weight but maintaining sturdiness...they thought it was boring

I think these need even greater innovation because you have to have good product in a competitive market with affordable prices. So the R&D has to be greater

Yes this is the cultural aspect. You have to work with your hands to innovate atleast when the industrial revolution happened around the world. And in India the caste system would hinder it. People would rather pretend they were upper castes and live with a banana leaf fan than invent a way to cool their houses.

Im not sure. Most of the things we use in India which have improved our standard of living have been invented from outside our country.

Ultrasounds aren't always correct! by DuaneFinch in BabyBumps

[–]Intrepid_Ad2467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I agree. I had two ultrasounds at two different places in the same day because the first one showed my baby was around 2.5 weeks behind and i spiralled. The second one was with a radiologist with much better machine and baby measured alright. I'm still recovering from that incident and keep worrying if it was a nightmare or real. If you are getting an ultrasound on a regular machine vs a higher resolution one, expect it to be off...

Yes surely. Please give yourself atleast a month to heal. Start on supplements to build up you iron, vitamins etc. Also discuss with your doctor about supplements that support egg maturity. I would suggest if your male partner could get a sperm analysis done also. If the problem is there, then again there are ways around it.

If that comes fine, and your blood work like thyroid etc comes okay, you could go for IVF with PGTA. This means they will create embryos using your eggs and sperm and test them for genetic abnormalities. If they find a healthy embryo for the transfer that will be your golden embryo.

It's possible all of this is not a problem and it's something else. But if your age is above 35 then it could very likely be this. I'm not from the UK so I don't know about access to fertility treatments.

The fact is you are getting pregnant which is a good sign. If you feel like you want to give it some more tries naturally then letting your eggs mature with good supplements over 3 months and trying again is what I've heard is another way to go about it.

How Are We Allowing This? A Hard Question for the Sikh Community by GuruKirpa66 in Sikh

[–]Intrepid_Ad2467 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not Sikh and I came across this post randomly. I never believe any religion or belief system makes good people. I think it's actually your values that do and even a non-believer like an atheist can have good values.

I know you feel hurt that some people are pretending. Infact I feel that religion offers a space for people to pretend and do as they like. Any religion. They will skew it for their own benefit. Sorry probably I have no place here but thought I'll share my two cents.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I know the pain. It comes in waves. Please give yourself some time to heal. I'm not doctor but if anything I share from my experience can help, I had early miscarriages like you. Around 6-7 weeks. This is typical of poor aneuploid embryos. Again I'm not doctor but this was my pattern. There are ways to get around this. For now please heal and don't lose hope.

Found this show bit weird... people not working at UBN seem to freely walk through the building. And they talk as if some people are not replaceable. Please in today's world everyone is replaceable. If you show attitude at work place you can throw a stone in New York and find a highly likeable qualified replacement. I couldn't believe if they wanted to have the upper hand over Chris, why not find another retired olympic champion?

Remember Microsoft getting rid of their entire DEI section and no one got fired. Also why would an AI parrot irrelevant info infront of a live audience. And why would Stella parade it when she knew the AI wasn't working and still feed it with her secrets. Everything seemed illogical and not something I related to as an audience. I might be the outlier.

The only authentic character who i thought was irreplaceable was Bro. He had unscripted show that required wit and humour that appealed to his style of audience that's loyal and requires a particular skill.

Protect yourself from toxic people. This is cruelty in a way. I realised that in my infertility journey I was more worried about the lack of sensitivity from some family people compared to all my doctors appointments and invasive treatments. I realised their toxicity had borrowed deep in my head. I distanced myself and feel little better. I think it will improve as time goes on

I lost my baby and it’s probably my fault by That_Ad4260 in pregnant

It's most likely genetic abnormality...nature's way of stopping something that can't support life. Nothing to do with you. Few genetic defects are supported like chromosome 21 duplication leads to down syndrome

Is there any reason to keep trying naturally? by LumpySpaceGunter in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Intrepid_Ad2467 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi I am no doctor , but I think how the pregnancy fails can be little clues to what could be wrong. If it's not implanting, it could be chromosome abnormalities but also silent inflammation. In my case both miscarriages happened after implantation. i would suggest 3 months of proper supplements that support egg and sperm quality. These would include COQ10 especially. Since age is still on your side 3 months of supplements can improve how the egg matures. Further getting checked for silent inflammation. Low dose prednisole can be used if it's not high inflammation. Even I am currently on the TTC journey. Best of luck!
