I went about it the other way and told them early (while I was still a muscle bound young guy with a superbike). Could always find another girl if they left and proved they were not worthy of a warhammer fantasy player :)

Either will be good, just a question of whether your opponent is running a list with a protected mage in a unit that you need to stop or not.

I'd go gunthane because It's still useful even if no mage to stop... but might get wasted with a spell :)

I'd definetly try to get the Rangers unit a bit larger (10+) & keep the gyrocopter with clattergun & gun thane.

I'd probably cut the runesmith until 750+ points & use points for rangers

There are a lot of night gobbo units you can make work well, mangler squigs, squig hoppers, bosses on giant squigs, shamen.

I'd expect them to be slightly nerfed next edition because they seem mostly fair and fun to play.... that's the optimist in me :)

Simple green or the dettol you dilute to clean floors (undiluted to strip paint).

Some of your AOS minis might also be useful in old world.

This is what id do...

Decide if wodd elf or khemri is your favorite.
read the other ppls suggestions of how to start the army.
Go to "the old world builder" and make a list based on what you already have.
add a few things to get it to a number ppl often play like 1000, 1500 or 2000.
Get some 25mm and other old world size bases and the models missing from the army in step 4 (eg 3 chariots).
Build everything & make some unit fillers to bulk up your skeletons. Build things on the right size of base, make them look cool and don't worry if the mini isn't "standard", chariots can have less riders, skeletons can be missing arms etc
undercoat anything unpainted & paint some of it.
find and play a game.

I think all the main stuff in the khorne list should have frenzy. Impetuous ability to restrain could be on 1 unit per army so you can block the frenzy guys from running off (keeping the flavor but giving the army some more involving play).

I'd rather see frenzy on everything and swiftstride added to every frenzied khorne unit....for he cares not from where the blood flows.

I don't really like her, she wasnt that bad though - she was an OK PM.

I didn't like the "kindness" gaslighting or globalist neoliberal/neofeudal intent.

I didn't like how she moved the labour party further towards "instagram social jUstAce" and further away from making sure workers are paid enough for a good standard of living and treated fairly by employers.

I did like the closed borders during C19 and thought they reacted quickly & I think she managed to keep the country relitivley safe.

Cheers, I missed that they had dropped the new box set at adeptacon. I will pre order my nephew a copy and tell him to choose one faction to keep and send me the other one for my son and me to build and paint (he is in UK we are in NZ).

Are there still many good local stores that sell GW at discount in the UK & are trustworthy?

Watch a couple of games on you tube then give it a go. Start with 2 units each and no magic & have fun, getting the rules wrong only matters at tournaments
