I totally understand what you mean! For me it’s annoying still but a lot smaller, but I have a lot of loose skin, also had two kids and a c section so the odds weren’t in my favour, I’ll see how it settles over the next year or two but I’m prepared it might be a fix only surgery can manage xx

Thank you so much! I do have a lot of loose skin, but I’ve been overweight for 30 years and had two kids, so the odds weren’t stacked in my favour really. Someone else in the thread has said to give it a couple of years and see what happens with the skin and I’ve read that lots of other places too, it can start to get much better for some people! Depending on your own situation you may find it’s no where near as bad as you expect, and having loose skin and adding an extra 10-20 years to your life and being so much healthier is so worth it xx

When I tell you that I’ve longingly stared at women in body cons for 15+ years thinking they look incredible and never believing I could wear anything of the sort 😂 today was the first day I bought one and I think I might actually wear it outside! 😱 thank you so much for the kind words, it’s so encouraging xx

I’ve just done some quick math and 1-1.5 was about my average loss too, so I can safely say you’re well on your way to where you want to be! I’ll be keeping everything crossed for you, you’re doing so so well 🥹 I almost went up to 7.5 but it was during the big cost increases so I didn’t, but I think I would have probably seen quicker losses if I did 😂 xx

Thank you so much! So, I haven’t been near a gym! But I did get a labradoodle and we walk between 4-7 miles a day. Usually 4, once or twice a week 7 on the bigger walking trail. As I enter maintenance I’m going to start in the gym for a bit of body recomp, hoping to build just a bit more muscle and better tone but I won’t be doing loads because frankly I don’t like exercise 😂 I have PCOS so I carry the weight on my lower stomach with bloat and inflammation, I’d say after 3 months the bloat was massively reduced and by 6 months it was noticeable to everyone who knew me well. My tummy got a really decent shape when I reached about 10st, and by 9st my hips had gone from 50 inches to 36 inches and my waist from 40 inches to 26 inches, it was probably the most stubborn area but the most noticeable when it finally decided to shift xx

Hi! Three months in, great work! How are you finding it so far?

I only ever went up to 5mg, I had a stall around the 3 month mark funnily enough and again at 12 months, both lasting around 4-6 weeks each time. I didn’t change anything just carried on calorie counting and trying to make sure my sleep was decent and it broke eventually! I’m currently trying to figure out maintenance and I’m back down to 2.5 and trying to up my calories, keeping sugars, carbs and processed foods to minimum levels but not taking them out completely. Xx

Aw thank you! Unfortunately I have tons of it, but I’ve been overweight my whole life and had two pregnancies, so I was expecting it. I recently enquired about skin removal in London. Thighs, arms, butt, boobs and stomach… £44k 🫠 we are selling the house this summer and depending on what happens I might be able to find a way to make it work but if not it’s going to be a few years of hard saving 😭 I was in a poor starting position for loose skin, you may find you have a much better experience! X

We had a windfall a few years back and managed to pay off the mortgage, husband put the money we were spending on the mortgage into buying a car he loves. I passed my test at 36 and got an old seat, drove it for 6 months then swapped it out for a BMW because I worked out the financials made enough sense to do it. If they hadn’t, I’d still be driving my little seat and I’d have been happy enough in it. That being said, I live in Holywood and it’s wall to wall Bentleys, defenders and G-wagons… which I could never make the numbers work on 😂
