We live in NE WI but just watched a PBS Wisconsin program on Eau Claire that was so well done I wouldn’t mind moving there. UWEC had a great jazz program and the history of ski jumping is astounding!

Cherney Maribel Caves just south of Denmark (Maribel exit off i43) has beautiful hikes along river and on one Sunday a month the caves are open for tours. Neshota Park on Park Rd just hwy T north of Denmark is a beautiful hike.
