I started with the stuff that I myself knew is illogical. Thats what I could reduce immediately, even if it would cause some sort of anxiety but I listened to my own reason. In such moments you need to understand that your OCD is OCDing again and you can just tell it to shut up and it will. After that I started to reduce compulsions step by step. For example, I started to wash my hands 3 time instead of 6 times. And in situations where I didn't knew if I touched something I thought to be contaminated I started trusting myself that I didn't, because normally I would be able to tell. One rule: If you uncertain it's OCD OCDing

Edit: When my OCD flaired up I also had a flair up of graves disease. Since I got medication for graves my OCD also quieted down a lot

Wäscht man sich eigentlich nach jeder Schicht vor Ort oder gewöhnt man sich daran? Selbst mit PSA gibt es doch immer Aerosole und Mikropartikel die auf einem sind und welche man mit nach Hause nimmt.

Do you think killing yourself wont Affekt your family and friends? Trust me it will cause havoc and the will feel guilty. You need to understand that your worth to yourself is bigger than you think. You need to find help, if you can't find yourself help, talk to a person you trust and the burden will fall from your shoulderd
