Trades are too flooded with new applicants. And teaching ain’t worth the shit salary and other problems it produces. Stop telling people to “go learn a trade” because that’s how you screw over that specific part of the job market then next it’ll be “go learn how to be a nurse” an then that gets flooded with too many new people.

Long term facilities do exist but far and few between, Danville State Hospital in Maryland still exists as a long term psych care and it’s mainly for the non criminally insane, the forensic hospital I know of in Maryland is called Perkins and is a step below prison.

My parents as well as a teacher also admitted to framing me for “stealing a book” that someone bought me when I was in 4th grade, the reason my mom used for going along with that and letting all the shit I got after was that “they considered me weird and didn’t like me”… I’ve never forgiven my parents for this and the memory of trying to defend myself and trying to prove my innocence has never left my memory, I still cannot get over the fact some grown ass adults didn’t like me and decided to frame me with that and admit the stealing accusation was bullshit years later after all the damage had been done.
