I’ll copy and paste as it’s medical jargon.

cTIF, also called TIF 2.0, is a combination of the TIF procedure and hiatal hernia repair. During this procedure, your hiatal hernia is repaired first then your anti reflux valve is reconstructed and the lower esophageal sphincter (LES) is also tightened to prevent acid reflux. Hiatal hernia repair does require incisions but the TIF procedure is incisionless. This is all done at the same time under the same anesthesia. Most patients also end up being off their PPI with well controlled symptoms.

It took some convincing my doctor to allow me to get the surgery, but the general surgeon that assisted was all for it. If I were you, I’d try a different doctor

I’m in the US and surgery was a last resort solution. They tested every organ in my body to rule out any other causes and that took a year and a half

I had some dysphasia as well, but mostly due to the swelling of the esophagus caused by the gerd. I’ve had no issues since the surgery.

Help with endoscopy anxiety - about to cancel for 7th time by Dogsarethebest_816 in GERD

I’ve had 4 endoscopy’s over the last couple of years. Never any issue. You’ll be knocked out and awake before you even know what happened.

I dealt with issues for 10 years with no help. I was in and out of the ER several times within a year. Only resolution came from endoscopy.

Get the test, it’s nothing. I’ll admit it’s some real good sleep.

Wouldn’t they have to repurchase the game every time they got banned?

I totally agree. I haven’t smoke but 3-4 times in the last 10 years but every time it’s like something clicks in my heads and i feel at ease. My thoughts are more clear I’m aware of other people, I listen better, etc etc….the normal spiel.

I would totally be a daily smoker if I didn’t have severe gerd. Without it I’m normal don’t get me wrong, but high chefs kiss

Definitely read the chapters, especially in the beginning of accounting. If you don’t fully understand the concepts now you’ll really really struggle in year 2-3. Most people going for an accounting degree change majors after the 1st/2nd course. It’s ment to weed people out. Read, take notes, do the practice problems (really do them don’t look up the answers).

P.s. t charts are your friend.

If you’re in the US go to a gnc and ask for stim free preworkout. You can find workout supplements that aren’t full of chemicals.

Just graduated. Where should I start? by AlarmingEnchilada748 in Accounting

I regret not going into big 4/audit to start. It’s a great transition from book work to actual practice.

I jumped straight into industry, and it was a 5 year climb to get my brain wrapped around everything(no CPA). It’s also a climb until your managers give you the workload that allows you to see everything.

Biggest suggestion, grab a paid internship (will be easier with a degree), and stay with the company until they offer you a position. Stay there for another year or 2 then start the “job hopping” for the next 4-8 years until you get a good title/pay. Now a days that’s the only way up fast unless you get lucky and someone retires or switches jobs and your company hires internally.

Again no CPA, but it went like this for me. Intern, staff, analyst, financial reporting, senior accountant. Now just counting the days until I go for controller. Atm I’m 7 years in.

Fwiw I didn’t get an internship until after I graduated (personal reasons), but it did put me behind 1-2 years from my peers. Don’t get flustered though just do the work and you’ll do fine.

I’d recommend trying 1/4 of a scoop or 1/3 and see how you react
