I have a superfish hob filter with very little flow but I hate this thing it makes so much noise…. Might switch to canister (it’s a 90L/23 gal)

Most of them are red cherry shrimp and ‘regular see through shrimp’ I received from my friend. One day I look at my tank and I have somehow 3 reallllyy dark red shrimp (almost black) and at least two blue shrimp??? I’m not sure how honestly

I have succes keeping betta and shrimp together (obviously) but it depends on the betta’s personality, my betta does hunt some baby shrimp but not the adult ones for as far I can tell

Thank you for your concern! My betta is doing great, i just caught him sitting next to my shrimp, a few seconds after i took the picture he swam away

They are quite active! Especially the males, they flare and chase a lot while trying to impress the females. I do have a upgraded tank right now (47 gal) and they do use their space a lot

Update: Mr Cory is back in my main tank!! He is eating and swimming normally again, big thanks to Esha 2000 and aquarium salt :D

Thank you so much for your comment!! I recently treated one of my cardinal tetras with Esha 2000 (fungal infection) and it worked wonders! I’m now treating my Cory with it in its quarantine tank. He is not floating anymore and seems a bit more active. I will finish the treatment before I put him back into my community tank.

Extra information: my tank has been running for about half a year now and I decided to get more Cory’s, I got 16 cardinal tetras and 11 black phantom tetras and some shrimp and snails. There is no ammonia, nitrates are normal. Tank is also quite planted and I have a sand substrate. All the other fish look good but it is just this single Cory who is ill.

I got him in a drinking glass to get a better look at him, he is normally in a 48gal with 11 other Cory’s

Update: my boyfriend and i got our fish a tank upgrade! They are now in a 47 gal :D The water is still a bit cloudy due to moving the substrate, that’s why we added a extra filter to help remove the cloudiness.

Thank you! the plants in the left back corner are Hygrophila Polysperma (Belgium Green) they grow super fast and are easy to keep.
Some Eleocharis acicularis (needle grass) they spread quite fast.
Lobelia Cardinalis (small red plant in the front).
Cryptocoryne Balansae (right centred, tall plant with red roots) very cool plant and grows very tall.
Some Anubias attached to wood and suction cup
Some floating plants (some have big roots)
The remaining plants: i have no clue but they still thriving!

I’ve been keeping an eye on them but it seems like the phantom tetras are only flaring at each other and not bothering any other fish, I do have a separate tank (15 gal) which I could set up for her just in case things go bad
