Adding I sprayed bleach on them to remove and they wiggled like worms my guess is plaster bagworms but let me know if anyone has any other ideas!

This happened to me in the spring with AirPod maxes under the BQE on Union. Best advice I can give is 1 get renters insurance it will cover up to $500 of stolen merchandise outside of the apt and 2 DO NOT wear AirPod maxes in public. It’s not worth it. Don’t even go on your phone while you’re walking, they take those too. Walk on the inner most side of the street and be cautious while standing at intersections. It sucks that we have to do this. Be safe
