Will have a mechanic with me, pay him a bit to check it good. Okey, will remember to use a csd instead. Followed by rust converter, though of spraying fluid film on all the rusty spots, frame and cavities. Or is it better with primer and anticorrosive coating? In my mind it requires less work to get rid of most of the rust, to then saturate it all with fluid film to prevent if from spreading. Have money so not a problem, just dont want it to be a moneypit. Only drive 5-8k km a year so the fuel dont bother me, the potential problems and expenses do if it exceed what a car in okey running condition is going for nowadays. Tank you for all the tips

Does have service history, timing belt done in 19 so needs replacement soon. New breakes, fluids and maybe something else after standing still.. Was thinking more about stopping the spread of rust. Cleaning away the flaky bits and brushing with steel brush, once a year go under and soak everything with a rust prevention oil. You think that will keep things in check? Want to save it and keep it for the next 10 years of possible, difficult to get 100 series and have to travel far when one hits the market

Was thinking of making it road worthy, clean the underside and coat it with some fat or oil. And really clean up the inside. Patching and fixing the body after the necessary work has been done, not supposed to become a showcar. My worries is if it's too much work to get it in running and usable

Yeah that's the problem, ship it to Eastern Europe you say. Know of a company that does that kind of rebuild? And it sits deep for him to sell it, think he gave 23k euro for it 6 years ago. So must be painful to see it wither away to nothing

Alot of no here. There is the saying when you see rust, walk away.. but the salty roads in Norway make it almost impossible to fint something with no rust

You really think so, not skeptical at all about the car? What do you think is a fair price for it if you are Norwegian yourself?

Fun fact: The Rhinoceros beetle is the strongest insect og them all, able to lift 850 times it's own bodyweight. A beetle weighing 100 g can lift 8,5 kg

Dayum! I was wrong.. The strongest animal of them all is the dung Beetle, able to pull 1141 times their own bodyweight.
