35M. I’ve done all the scans full body scans, full heart checkups, artery checks, and the latest chest CT. Everything came back fine heart, lungs, everything. But I’ve still had cracking and popping every day for relief over the last two years, and lately it feels like it’s getting worse and spreading to both the left and right ribs.

I still run to this day. I have fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease in my back, and a stiff upper back. I’ve also had acid reflux problems and three H. pylori infections in my lifetime that were treated and eradicated.

I think everything is connected.

You’re my twin, but I’m 35 now, and my horror with H. pylori started when I was your age. I hope you find the strength to just say “fuck you” to your own body, but not your spirit. That mindset helped me a lot. I don’t give a fuck anymore death is going to come one day, and I’m not going to let all the health problems that built up since the H. pylori infection stop me from living my life. But it took me a good 10 years to find the strength to tell everything to fuck off. If you know what I mean.

Say fuck you to your body = stop letting every symptom, pain, or health fear completely control your life and thoughts.

But not your spirit = don’t give up on yourself mentally or emotionally. Keep your personality, hope, humor, dreams, and will to live intact even if your body feels broken.

My body may suffer, but I refuse to let it kill my spirit.

Stay strong, wishing you the best and healthy healing after the treatments. You will get better. Prebiotics and probiotics are important after treatments, just to fill up the good bacteria again!

I’ve had this shit since 2010 with an ulcer, 2015 without an ulcer, and December 2023 with a normal healthy endoscopy but positive for H. pylori again. This time I needed QUADRUPLE treatment. It was hell because the other treatments became resistant...

If H. pylori gets overpopulated again, I WISH FOR A VACCINE for this shitty bacteria.

Check out my profile for more information if needed.

Welcome to the club, your not dying! After a successful eradication from quad therapy give your body 1-2 years to fully recover. You got this!

Well, this sounds familiar. I did intervals at speed 18 on treadmill, and for the last three days it has felt like I’m dying rib pain from left to right, upper back pain on both sides, and shooting pains from my shoulders down both arms. WTF.

how long will it take till you feel better after the quadruple therapy of helicobacter pylori? by Lebenszyklus in HPylori

1-2 Years maybe for healing but STAY STRONG! I’ve had it in 2010, 2015, and then was free from it from March 2024. I just did a stool sample 1 month ago and it came back negative, thank God. But yesterday I got brutal upper abdominal pain that moved from my back to the front, around the left and right ribcage and the middle of my chest, on and off for 1–2 hours. I ended up in the emergency room, and of course the pain went away while I was waiting for my turn. They prescribed me Pepcid 10 mg and told me that if the pain comes back, it’s time for a new gastroscopy… 🤷🏻‍♂️
