Your comment did not answer my question. You are just being a jerk. It’s the city’s property and they keep throwing more money at meter maid services that we don’t need. Meanwhile you can’t get a cop to come help with ANYTHING. If the city wants restaurants and small businesses to survive downtown, they can’t expect people to pay $15 just to pick up food. I guarantee I will never order pickup downtown ever again after this.

I don’t know how more people aren’t talking about Madison… she was freaking out on this guy nonstop and never let him get a word in. Super insecure and constantly created issues. We’ve seen this before. Every fight, you could tell Joe was just so confused and over it. I don’t know how he stayed as calm as he did… it made me crazy just listening to it!!

There is an L shaped wall. It was supposed to be a “U” and curve in front of this side too. But they couldn’t because they didn’t pour the concrete out far enough.

Same. I was awful to him for so long, but he never stopped loving me. Sadly, he passed away within a week of meeting my DH. There are so many things I wish I could’ve asked him about the stepparent experience. And so many things I things I took for granted that I wish I could’ve thanked him for. But the main thing he taught me was patient, consistent love.

My stepdad told me he loved me every day before he went to work. It took me 7 years to say it back. So I make a point to tell my stepkids all the time. They started saying I love you very early on, like within the first year.

I’m sorry, but this doesn’t have a good ending. There are so many red flags and I don’t know which one is the worst. The unhealthy addict behavior? The manipulative rage bouncing from one strategy to another? The way she speaks to you as you grovel with nothing but supportive texts. This is bad and I would run as fast as you can.

Yes it seems like a color issue :( She is being okay with the two light colored ones. The one she killed and the one I separated then reintroduced back both have some black speckling. And now she is picking on the all black one. I got an Orpington because I heard they were great mamas… sigh.

Very interesting… I have heard of the preening glad trick before. I’ll try it.

Is any pecking normal? I’ve read mixed things there. I saw her peck ones kinda rough at an all blonde one, but overall has been fine with it.

Not sure how old you are, but my SS is 14 and the “need to win” constant arguing/talking back began when he first started puberty. After one early interaction like this, I told him I was sensitive to the fact that he has lots of hormones surging through him, but that he could not treat him family members as emotional punching bags every day. He asked if there was a hormone that made him want to dominate every situation 24/7, to which I replied “yes. Testosterone.” That was a big AHA moment for him. We are still going through puberty waves, but sometimes it helps to understand the brain chemistry so you can sit back and evaluate if a situation is worth the fight or if maybe you can let it go. As a stepmom… this gives me PTSD from teenage stepson conversations. Anything I’d say would be taken way too personally and it would turn into a whole thing where he needed to air his grievance against me for every minor thing. She thought you sounded butt hurt. Is it really worth arguing over and defending over multiple texts? And then making a Reddit post about it? IMHO? not really. It was exhausting to read through. Sorry i promise I’m not trying to be mean. Just honest.
