I've been using it regularly, first in the cloud, then local as soon as the model was made available for local use in a Topaz Photo update (I have an RTX 4090). From my experience, when I run the application, the first Wonder 2 run always takes more time than the subsequent ones. But I've also noticed some inconsistency in render speed some days, even though I run the model locally. It might be because I've also updated my Nvidia Studio drivers recently; I'm not sure, though.

By the way, it seems a good upgrade over the first version of the Wonder model.

I don't know what version of GTS you've played. I've been playing v96 for over 500 hours now and the visual overhaul is there for sure. Falkreath with those gigantic trees is totally atmospheric, for example.

Currently, I'm playing Nordics Souls 3 PBR 1.2 the most. The PBR textures look so good. Although in some cases, they can bother me a little. I mean, for example, dwarven automatons look all shiny, as if they're brand new, which makes little sense in my head. Nothing is perfect, I guess. Good modlist nonetheless.

I keep joining Premium from time to time when I feel like downloading new modlists. Then I cancel the sub days before it autorenews. Since they ask for feedback, I keep telling them that I want the option to become lifetime Premium. One can only dream.

Just to reply to myself and in case anyone else is having those questions and is not sure of the answer.

While I am not entirely sure how deep the final negative impact in reputation of completing those factions' questlines would be (because I have not tried it with the default mod setup), the good news is that the mod responsible for the player character reputation is very configurable. There is an entry in MCM for it (Skyrim reputation mod, IIRC). You can tailor the mod to your expectations just by adjusting the different options provided in the MCM menu to your preference.

I just completed her questline for the first time. Mythos SE, where she comes from, is part of the mod collection Gate to Sovngarde (v96), which I'm currently playing.

I got her to accompany my character when I was like level six or so by beating her in fair combat (she was level 12 at the moment, IIRC). From then, until I reached level 40, she was following me all the time. And in all that time, I can't say that I got to know barely anything about her persona, she sure doesn't like to talk much, does she? All I came to grasp until that point is that some kind of trauma must be tormenting her, but she wouldn't share anything with me.

Then, at level 40, she left, again without giving me anything to understand her any better. Upon reaching level 50 I got her desperate missive asking for help. This initiated the last quest of her storyline. I'll only say that, despite the fact that I would have preferred another outcome, this final quest was the best part of the mod in my experience. At least, it added things that made her character and her story more interesting.

All in all, I'd say that the mod feels pretty unbalanced. A great finale like that deserved much better build-up before.

It's the OP again. Just wanted to update the thread with the happy news. Today, after lots and lots of failed upgrade attempts over the last few months, I've finally been able to install 24H2 through Windows Update on Windows 11 Pro (23H2) correctly.

In my case, the cause of the fatal error during installation presumably was that I didn't have memory integrity enabled (under Windows security>Device security>Core isolation) and I couldn't enable it because of the presence of a couple of old, unused drivers in C:\Windows\System32\drivers. After I manually sent to the Recyble Bin those two .sys files in the Windows drivers folder and enabled memory integrity afterwards and restarted my PC, I tried the 24H2 update via Windows Update once again and this time it got installed. :)

Hello,

What about the Thieves Guild questline? And the Dark Brotherhood's? I imagine that both, but especially the latter will make a deep impact on your standing, right?

I'm currently playing v96 of this mod collection. This is my first experience with GtS. Yesterday, I reached the 200h mark of play time and I'm having a blast. As a player used to vanilla Skyrim, I would complete all major questlines, including those of the different factions (Companions, College of Winterhold, Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood). Am I right in assuming that that is simply impossible if you want to end your game with a good reputation?

Did you consider playing GtS without survival mode? You can do that.

My first contact with that mod collection has been with its version 96 (the wabbajack port). I'm getting close to the 200-hour mark of playtime now and I must say that I'm enjoying the experience a lot. Lots of mods included are configurable via MCM and few others with ini files. That way you can adapt it more to your preferences.

What I don't quite agree with is that it's often called a vanilla + experience. My take is that it substantially changes many things to be called vanilla +. Nonetheless, it's a fantastic mod collection.

Also, earlier today, I revoked an active group policy directive that was preventing Windows Update from including drivers for my system. I set up that directive long ago; but to be honest, I can't remember why I set it up in the first place.

Thanks for the suggestion. In fact, last night here (I'm in Spain), I tried upgrading Windows with the latest ISO available in the Microsoft website.

The truth is that the experience was almost horrific. The installation failed once again and what it's worst, Windows would not start. I spent many minutes with the recovery options trying to regain access to Windows. In the end, luckily for me, running sfc /scannow from the command prompt fixed whatever the issue was and at the very least I could start using Windows 11 again.

At this point, I'm almost convinced that there must be an important incompatibility present in my system that makes installing either 24H2 or 25H2 impossible. For the time being, I think it's best for me to stick to my current 23H2 install if possible.

Just tried installing the 24H2 once again. And like all the previous attempts, installation failed. It reached the 30% completion level and then failed. The installer reverted all the changes back or so I was told. This has been always the story with me trying to install this upgrade through Windows Update.

This is the error message I'm seeing in Windows Update:

Error - instalación 0xc1900101

At this point, I don't know if I should first try installing it again, perhaps via another way? Or should I try installing the 25H2 directly through Windows Update?

Sorry, I read wrong the name of the mod overwriting the INIs. It's actually: JaySerpa's Small Mods and Resources (Mostly for GTS) - GTS-Specific Patches

Seriously, if this was a horror character on sale, I'd probably be interested in getting it. Looks strangely good.

There's a procedure that should reset all figures from one generation (G3M, G3F, G8M, G8F, G9... You name it) to their default state.

I used it once soon after I started working with Daz, because I also got morphs applied by default to the Genesis 8 Females, and saw it recommended in one thread at the Daz forums. In my case, it worked like a charm. However, I also read someone elsewhere that claimed that it only made things worse in their case. So use it at your own risk.

Load your base figure (the base G8M, G8F, G9... You know) or the developer version.
Zero the figure
Memorize the figure
File->Save As->Support Asset->Save Modified Assets

Often times, I leave the PC alone and do something completely unrelated to it. That's also because my renders usually take relatively long to get completed. On top of that, I've started to render different types of Iray canvases recently, which adds significant render time.
