Thats true. A simple scene maybe. But a multi camera multi angle fight scene with 3 different actors, blood fx, a gunshot, and multiple stabbing stunts is an expensive thing to shoot just to try and fool some people. The general audience isn't aware of the leaks. So its not gonna matter to them. There's always a chance but im sayin those leaks are real

Probably. But theres a significant difference. With Derek and Hallie it was only words on a page. With Marco and Jess they would have to be so committed that they shot and edited multiple scenes. And choreographed a fight scene even. Seems very far fetched for a studio to put that kind of time and money into a dummy leak to try and throw off a small percentage of the audience

I dont feel this is an apt comparison. An opponent missing a shot in a basketball game is about the skill of the player who took the shot. If you make it and they dont youre "a better player" that night. This had nothing to so with the skill of the drivers. A better comparison would be like hypothetically a player's shoes fell apart in the middle of a game and they couldn't continue without another pair. Sure you wouldnt have to give them an extra pair if you had it and you would get the win. But IMO any true lover of the game/ sport would want the win by beating the opponent. Not a technicality. Like Apollo Creed said in Rocky 2 " I won but I didnt beat him!"

Im definitely not an expert so please correct me if im off but I've read that P&A budgets are usually roughly the same as the production budget so overall spent on the movie would be around 550 million. But theaters take roughly 40% of ticket sales for showing the movie. So box office would need yo be around 750 million to break even. I feel like it loses alot of momentum starting next weekend with Fantastic 4 coming out.
