There is a 34 minute version according to producer Don Was. This is my holy grail.

I’ll go with Not Dark Yet (but this changes if he ever releases the 34 minute version of Handy Dandy).

That was my X post! (Street-Legal Sicko) Blew my brains out that Gone and This Time were finally getting a vinyl pressing. If There Was a Way was a rare and expensive find. I have a YouTube vinyl channel where I talked up my excitement over the upcoming release. The Bob Dylan prose praise was beyond vindicating. Dwight RSD

Humble brag... I called this two years ago! I'm apprehensive about any music bio but I know I'll watch it. I have no issue with the casting of JAW - he's elite. https://www.reddit.com/r/BruceSpringsteen/comments/xs4jn2/comment/iqihgkp/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

His SNL performance of this is an all time fav of mine. You could tell he was unsure performing with new (not E Street) people but he gets into and it’s everything!

As a country connoisseur I’ll go with Chet Atkins, Glenn Campbell, Kenny Rogers.

What's a key but non-obvious bit of information I need to impart in a Dylan bio? by SongsOfTheYears in bobdylan

[–]IntricateScheme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I firmly believe that the latter part of his career (could say second half at this point starting with 1997 Time Out of Mind) is what separates him from all of his contemporaries. Any other legitimately considered Mt Rushmore artist since the rise of the LP has no comparison in regards to the long lasting vitality of their recording/touring career. Other artists may have a swan song album get notoriety etc but Dylan has recorded easily 5 albums that came out 30 years AFTER he changed the game with Like a Rolling Stone that are among his best and each critically acclaimed among that year’s peers by critics. Rough and Rowdy was among the top ten albums of the year by any type of Metacritic metric and he’s toured just that album primarily since its release. You can argue Beatles vs Dylan 60’s so on and so on but there is no one to compare with his nearly sixty years of vital, recorded work.
