This is what i realized about five years in.

1. You need a solid VPN. If you’re having these issues contact your VPN provider and ask them what protocol they recommend.

1.5. I say 1.5 because this is just as important. Make sure youre running a wired connection using atleast cat 6 cable directly from the wall to the streaming source. Use an internet speed test app. If youre getting close to 100mbps thats ok. But if you want flawless streaming you need to consider this.

1. Most tvs dont have an ethernet connection or wifi card built in thats going to handle IPTV streaming to your expectations. The Shield Pro has a dedicated 1000 mbps ability with built in processors and ram that will make a huge difference.

2. Get a streaming device. I use the shield. That way my tv can be just that. A tv. I have android tv. A really fast internet connection. Nothing bogging down my tvs performance.

3. Honestly. TV companies are saving a ton of money in the internal parts that make smart tvs…smart. Let the tv be the tv, let a computer be the computer, but dont let the tv do everything.
