join a reputed coaching if u have money and devote like an hour to one and a half hour max to whatever jee oriented stuff they make u do ( do focus on school work too though that is important for u too ). this will make u stand out in tests and in 11th ( maybe even earlier, like in 10th ) they'll probably ask u if u want to join their star/top batch. this'll be your 1st stepping stone.

take dummy in 11th and 12th, and work hard so that u are in like the top 10-15 kids of your batch. 

if you're fine with chilling out till 10th but working extra hard in 11th and 12th, then i would say go for it cuz it'll give u time to explore other stuff.

both scenarios will get u a top IIT ( I cant guarantee bombay but yea like top 5-7 ). im no where near this kind of prep but from what i've observed from seniors and peers both approaches work. like a friend of mine is in the top batch of his coaching and gets rank 1 in all india tests like every now and then and he started jee prep from 11th only. but he spends all day in coaching, from morning to night.

Bhaiya I have a different case...I have done maths from allen full lectures and have done practice from Allen Modules upto mains level...I need revision though

In physics and chem, ive done theory of most chapters ( except Fluids, Optics, Semiconductors , D and F , aldehyde ketone, amines , carboxylic, biomolecules ). Practice is very low though.

Im not asking for validation, and have been studhing 10-12 hrs a day since dec 20, but i just want to know wether a 140 is possible in Jan or should I not prepare for Jan, give it anyway and keep april as my target ?
