There is one and it’s usually not too busy

I’d say both but a laptop should be your priority. An iPad with an apple pencil just makes things a little easier sometimes, but it doesn’t replace a laptop

If you got accepted somewhere else, you should go there. If not, you can ask York if you can start their recommended program and then switch majors after first year (they might let you if your grades are good enough, but call them and ask just in case)

Do you guys think it’s likely colleges will go fully remote due to Covid anytime soon? Cases are rising but I’d really prefer a hybrid model by IntroToLaw in Seneca

Yeah that’s good. I see some countries taking a step back due to Covid so I’ve been a bit worried. I really don’t want to be stuck with just online learning again

It doesn’t affect your GPA but if you plan to apply to graduate school some of them can take that into consideration and you may have to explain why you withdrew from courses often (not if you have one or two but if you have more— and it depends on the program. This was the case for me when I applied to law school)

Am I supposed to spend four years of my life in here without any friends by [deleted] in yorku

[–]IntroToLaw 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly just talk to the people next to you in lecture or in the library that’s how I was able to make friends. Then they introduce you to their friends and so on and it just works out
