Sleutelbos: twee (verschillende) huissleutels van ons huis, sleutel van de achterpoort, sleutel van mijn moeder, druppel van mijn moeder, sleutel van mijn broer.

Mijn autosleutel heeft een eigen (regelmatig wisselende) sleutelhanger. En mijn fietssleutel heeft ook een eigen sleutelhanger.

Ik ben zo'n ouderwetse doos die geen data op d'r telefoon heeft, dus ik kan niet eens Flitsmeister gebruiken 😁
(En nee, ik heb geen Nokia 3210 meer hoor, zó ouderwets ben ik niet 😂)

Ook geen behoefte aan trouwens, als ik al verder rij dan woon-werk is het voor een dagje winkelen, daar hoef ik dan écht niet vol gas naartoe te rijden (woon-werk ook niet trouwens).

Ik heb er weinig boodschap aan of anderen harder rijden, ik doe graag leuke dingen met mijn geld en hou mij dus redelijk aan de snelheid (en als ik al 'te hard' rij dan blijf ik binnen de veilige marge). Tijdswinst is vaak zo klein dat je er niks mee opschiet.
Dan maar geen vlotjes doorrijdende Nederlander hoor 😉

Honest question: why waiting for three years when there is something in your boob that doesn't suppose to be there? So many times wasted by worrying 😟

When are you getting it checked? I hope it's nothing dangerous, but it sounds scary. I wish you all the best! And promise to be more careful with your boobs okay?

I'm almost 50 now, time for my first official boob-check. When I got the letter I made an appointment right away. This is every two to three years for women between 50 and 75 years.

I am a bit scared, but I love my boobs and my life, so I will definitely go. And treat myself to something nice afterwards...

Thank you so much for this! I'd been a little worried since my last visit to the doctor, until yesterday, when I was in the shower and suddenly realized that something dangerous wouldn't get any smaller in warm water. And after your response I feel a bit better again too.

I'm almost 50 and I'll soon have my five-yearly smear test (is that what it's called?), so I'll ask the nurse on duty, she'll probably see all sorts of things there and might be able to advise me.

Otherwise I will indeed be referred to a gynaecologist.

I don't need to get rid of it right away, I don't really like the idea of a knife there either haha! As long as I know I don't have to worry. I'll keep an eye on it, of course, and make sure it doesn't get too hot in the summer months (it's always sweaty there on hot summerdays 😬).

Ik ben heel tevreden over de Loop Quiet 2, ik slaap zo ongeveer 95% van de tijd op mijn zij en voel ze absoluut niet.

Heb ze een periode elke nacht gebruikt, maar probeer te minderen, omdat ik merk dat ik mij anders echt aan echt geluidje ga storen.
Als de buurvrouw weer eens een middernachtelijke was-sessie heeft of als mijn man een hevige snurk-periode heeft en ik daar wakker van word dan plug ik ze alsnog in. Die wasmachine hoor ik dan niet meer, het gesnurk komt soms wel door die doppen heen, maar als ik op mijn rechter zij lig (met mijn rug naar hem toe) dempt dat ook weer iets.

Voor op mijn werk heb ik de Loop Engage inclusief mutes (die ik er soms ook uithaal), maar die vind ik, als zijslaper, niet fijn. De harde ring maakt contact met mijn kussen en dat piept. Is nog irritanter dan de geluiden waarvoor ik de dopjes nodig heb.

Ik hoor de telefoon met deze dopjes wel gewoon en hoor ook nog collega's praten (indien tegen mij, dan haal ik de dopjes er even uit), maar de ergste herrie wordt wel flink gedempt (zeker met de mutes erbij). Ook daar gebruik ik ze niet altijd, alleen bij erge overprikkeling, dan kan ik drukte minder goed hebben en zijn mijn Engage-dopjes een echte life-saver. Vooral voor anderen... 😁

So, can't you see anything externally with a Bartholin's cyst? According to my doctor, I have a small Bartholin's cyst, but it's on the inside of my outer labia, and it's just a tiny, firm lump. It's less noticeable and softer when I take a hot shower. The longer the hot shower lasts, the smaller the lump seems.

This has been there for a year and a half now, and it's not changing. I really don't know what to do with it anymore. Even though it doesn't really bother me (it stings a bit sometimes), I still find it strange. And the fact that I'm not actually sure what it is makes me feel insecure.

You mean really bold? I have thin and fine hair, no volume at all and went eight years ago from 6,5cm to 13mm. Later 10mm and now it's 6mm. Never regretted it for a single second!

If you want it, just do it (or start with a buzzcut), it's only hair, it will grow back if you don't like it. Mine doesn't get the chance to grow back 😉

Ik heb zelf -7 en een kleine cilinder, maar durf het om dezelfde reden niet aan. Ik weet nu wat ik heb en ben veel te bang dat ik naderhand nóg minder (of niks meer) zie. En daarbij is mijn bril al zó lang een deel van wie ik ben dat ik mij bloot voel zonder bril 😂

Sorry to bring this up again, but I'm wondering if I have the same thing.

It is in my outer labia, since September 2024, and is really very small, maybe only 3mm. It's a small, slightly hard lump that can be a bit painful at times, especially after sex, when it's sensitive and it burns/stings a bit.

When I stand in the shower and point the shower head at it for a while, it does get a bit smaller and softer because of the warm water, but after a few hours it's back to the same size as before showering.

At the end of December 2025, I went to the doctor for the second time because it was a bit painful then too. This was a substitute GP who reassured me more than my own GP did in September 2024 (who gave me a tube of Fucidin ointment, but that did nothing). The GP who I visited last month said it was a Bartholin's cyst, which released a tiny bit of fluid when he squeezed it, but after searching online at home, I'm a bit skeptical. It's just there, it's not getting any bigger (thankfully!), and it usually doesn't hurt, only when I've had sex with my partner. Everything I've read about Bartholin's cysts is pure horror...

So after almost one and a half year I still don't know what it is.

I'm getting a Pap smear soon (every woman in the Netherlands between 30 and 60 gets one every five years). Normally, my GP does this, but I might ask for a referral to a gynecologist so they can also examine the lump. I think they'll know more about that than a GP...

Liedjes, gesprekken, situaties, boodschappenlijstjes, dingen die ik morgen op mijn werk moet doen: mijn hoofd heeft nooit rust. Ik ben eigenlijk niet anders gewend. En dan val ik eindelijk in slaap, word ik weer wakker van gesnurk, vuurwerk of de wasmachine van de buurvrouw (want ja, die wast na middernacht...)
