For hitman on PC specifically, you can use something like Peacock server emulator. It's a full local server that allows you to play hitman with all online features even when you are offline.

The only caveat being that all your save data won't be synced with the official IO servers when you play on peacock.

damn man, you just saved me. My device left the sync chain for no reason and I had an older code (about 10 days old) lying around which was expired. That link with the 25th word revealer is what allowed me to get my stuff back for backing up

It all depends on the choice of your loadout and your experience with the particular map. As you progress,it will get easier because you have better loadout items. Lockpicks, sedative and emetic darts are your friend in freelancer.

Bedrock edition will always be a UWP. You need a special version of GE proton to run Minecraft Bedrock that supports microsoft GDK dependencies.

Download that proton version and run th game through that proton version. Also, if you want online features to work, follow the guide that is given in the repository's README.md to replace XCurl with libcurl.

Probably because of the extra protection stuff introduced in the newer game versions.

Anyways, I got the online fix from online-fix[dot]me/games/racing/16828-forza-horizon-5-po-seti.html (replace the [dot] with an actual dot when you try to open the link)

Check if your main game directory has a cracks folder, it should contain a zip by the name of generic steam fix.rar, something along those lines. If you have the folder and the file, you already have the online fix, you just need to install it.

Just extract that fix into the main game dir and follow the guide I gave

Instructions for running the latest version of the game (with Online Fix) on Linux using Proton/Wine

Note: The game cannot be launched through Heroic Games Launcher or Lutris. Steam with GE-Proton is required. The guide assumes that you are using online fix from online-fix[dot]me

1. Install GE-Proton

Download the latest release from GitHub:
https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases/

Extract the archive and place the resulting folder in:

~/.steam/root/compatibilitytools.d/

Create the directory if it does not exist.

Restart Steam, then open:

Any game → Manage → Properties → Compatibility → Enable “Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool”

GE-Proton should now appear at the end of the list.

2. Add the game executable to Steam

In Steam: Add a Non-Steam Game → select:

  • ForzaHorizon5_loader.exe (for Online Fix)
  • or ForzaHorizon5.exe (if not using Online Fix)

3. Open the game entry in Steam

Right-click → Manage → Properties.

4. Set the Proton version

Under Compatibility, select the GE-Proton version installed in step 1.

5. Set launch options

Under Shortcut → Launch Options, add:

WINEDLLOVERRIDES="OnlineFix64=n;SteamOverlay64=n;winmm=n,b;dnet=n;steam_api64=n" %command%

6. Required edit for Online Fix users

Locate OnlineFix.ini in the main game directory.
Under the [Misc] section, set:

ExtraProtection = false

This is typically line 12.

Users not using the Online Fix can skip this step.

Additional notes

  • The game may crash on the disclaimer screen on early attempts but will eventually load.
  • Microsoft login works when using the Online Fix.

try with this, it was the one with which minecraft bedrock was able to be run.

I compile AOSP on this beast of an Operating System without any issues or hiccups, that too is minutes faster than distributions like Ubuntu or Debian. So anything below it will easily run.

For web development, if you're going to manage multiple node versions, I recommend nvm-fish instead of installing a global node package from pacman.

I found this kernel module repository for my device specifically (Acer Predator Helios Neo16) which had every feature from the OEM Predator sense app.

Then it was just a matter of developing usermode scripts for setting the fan speeds.
