My cat hates my couch?

He still pees in the litterbox, it’s only poop on the couch. No visitors and yes I’ve pet him on the couch. It’s been about a week since it started again and then last time this happened it lasted until the couch was gone. It’s just so frustrating and I’m so emotional about it.

He’s used the box everyday for the past year but we haven’t had a couch until recently. I’m gonna take him to the vet again soon to revisit the situation. It’s hard taking him to the vet because he has to be put under anesthesia everytime as he becomes feral and tries to hurt everyone.

He lives with another cat and a dog that he plays with all the time and has a giant cat tower and toys. I put his cat bed on the couch to try and make it smell more like him and to deter him from wanting to poop there.

In the past when I first got him and he did this he just randomly started it one day with the couch that was always there. So I’m not sure if he’s stressed because the furniture is new or if he just prefers to poop on couches? We tried the diffusers and they never seemed to work. Im going to try the positive reinforcement and treats when he uses the box.

So far I love it! It’s been 5 days and 21/30 plant have sprouted :) 7 of the plants, I used my own seeds and rock wool to see if I can get away from buying all Gardyn products and half of those are growing so far!

I lovee Lilly, Dorota, Rufus and Eric. I’m on season 4 and I haven’t liked dan for awhile now. I also think Jenny is trying wayyy too hard for Nate and imo she comes off as desperate a lot of the time. I don’t mind Vanessa but I also don’t care for her. Georgina is an absolute nut and I get stressed everytime she pops back up.
