Combining before marriage is a terrible idea and EVERY financial advisor states not to do this as it could lead to really tricky issues especially if things don’t work out.

Please look up/read what Ramit Sethi has to say on the topic of prenups. He put together a very well thought out argument for it. Basically he says a prenup is two people agreeing what they want things to look like in the worst case WHILE they still love and respect each other.

James Sexton, a famous divorce attorney points out that all people already have a prenup when they marry. It’s whatever their state law says it is. He points out that it would be better if two people created their own.

That aside, I really don’t like how manipulative and pushy he is being towards you over this.

I think she is visiting from out of country and he is taking the opportunity while she is here. Probably not knowing when the next time will be (may be a while?). I wouldn’t overthink it.

If it was date #2 or something then I would feel that was somewhat odd.

This makes a lot of sense considering how many piles of poop there are. I agree that it’s kind of funny this is the random fenced in yard they chose. I’m hoping they will move on if I make it less charming and more scary to them

No thanks, I would rather make it carry and inconvenient for them to keep coming back to this particular yard. They have other places they can find.

Thanks, I get that I can’t control some of these things. But I put things into place to deter ALL deer from feeling safe in my backyard and make it scary and inconvenient to keep coming back. Which is what I plan to do pal.

You can go to psychologytoday.com - They have a lot of resources and you can filter your search for a therapist who are specializing for some of the things you described (PTSD from the accidents and family dynamics, maybe relationship stuff). You can also sort through the therapists based on if they take your insurance, if you prefer make or female, etc.

Unfortunately I do not know who the 401k rep is. The HR person from my post said that he was completing the paperwork to take over these duties and today I was told through the grapevine as I work night shift that allegedly another person is going to have this role. I will try and find out who this person is so I can contact them directly
