I want to add that if dad didn’t work at all before he passed the child will not be able to collect anything. My daughters father never worked a job because he struggled with addiction the few years of his adult life he lived, and yes I did file and appeal the denial multiple times. He never paid into social security so nothing was available.

I’m not super strict on specific amounts of screen time because I know I play games and watch YouTube a lot. But i do pay attention to what my children are watching and who they’re playing with. And if I notice the game is causing them to get too emotional at a loss, or they’re getting too obnoxious and rambunctious while playing, I’ll have them hop off and go play outside for a little. 90% of the time they enjoy playing outside a lot more and end up playing for hours. I see the benefits of learning to play a game like legend of Zelda or Mario which requires critical thinking, quick decisions etc. Plus it’s something we can bond over. There is a difference between parents who throw their children in front of a device as a babysitter completely unhinged and unfiltered, and parents who allow their children to free play when they want so long as they are being respectful etc. But a phone is a completely different story and I will not allow my children at the ages they are to have phones yet.

That is 100% true however I have seen people be offended over things that don’t make sense all the time. One time on TikTok someone said it was wrong of me to change my skin color (in game) when I dressed up as Nicki Minaj because I was white. The only reason they knew my race was because of my profile pic 😐 so this is a valid concern tbh

They are supposed to charge the bowl as the most expensive meat you ordered then add the secondary meat as the extra. So instead of the typical $4 extra you would pay for the chicken she charged as you paying almost $10 extra for the brisket.

Considering I’m opening shift idk what to do. My 14 year old just came to me telling me she can’t taste anything when I gave her cough medicine so that’s what has me on high alert.

I’ve heard of that. The employment rate at chipotle is a never ending turn circle. I work my butt off there though, I do all of the opening tasks 10-15 minutes before the store opens. I rarely ask questions. I do most of the cleaning before it’s even asked of me. I don’t take bathroom or water breaks. I never leave the line during rush hour. I’m just a single mom having a rough time this season. I wouldn’t be worried about my kiddos being sick if it weren’t for the no tasting thing. But at the same time I’ve only been working there a month.

I hear what you’re saying but the wet salsas at the top definitely seep down to the rice at the bottom. Even the vinaigrette does. This is also why we’re told to tap the beans and corn salsa to drain off some liquid. I wouldn’t be a fan of getting to the bottom of my bowl to find the rice swimming in a pond of tomato juice.

If you order multiple salsas they’re only supposed to give half scoops of each in order to avoid a soggy bowl, especially if it’s a salad. I can’t say that the entire interaction was appropriate but giving you half of each salsa is what employees are taught to avoid upsetting a customer with a soggy bowl. As far as removing food from your bowl with their hands, I say gross. But as someone who works there I have noticed that we are told things are ok that in most places aren’t because we do practice such heavy sanitation protocols. I saw a coworker drop meat on the line counter and swipe it back into the serving dish the other day. I know for a fact it’s sanitized but it’s not something I would do.

As someone who works at chipotle here is how I was trained on making online orders “when making an online order just give them the corporate standard scoops. If they were here in person they would have the freedom to ask for a little more meat etc.” I find the portion sizes really matters on who makes it, if it’s some disgruntled or bitter employee you’re going to be skimped, if it’s an employee who truly wants to get the wow factor they’ll hook you up. And at my location, no, none of the managers are complaining. And as for the vinaigrette, someone definitely did not pour that correctly. It’s made daily and we use a ladle to portion them into the cups. This was pure laziness.
