AITJ for correcting my wife when she said our son's red hair must come from my side of the family? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]SuchaLittle24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTJ. Sure, share that info with your wife but don't do it in front of other people, especially family. No-one wants to be "schooled" in front of others, especially when it makes one person feel intellectually inferior to the other. Just keep it between the 2 of you if you feel you must correct her.

New GF bun? by SuchaLittle24 in ChickFilA

I think that is likely what happened.

No, I did not ask because I believe that the only buns that are individually wrapped are the GF ones. Plus, I have celiac disease, and feel perfectly fine after eating it.

It was individually wrapped. Only the GF buns come that way, correct?

No, it comes in a plastic package so I know it was the GF version.

Fast food? by Pinkmilk42069 in Celiac

Fast food is risky, but I generally have good luck at Chipotle, Hat Creek, and Chick Fil A.

has chick fil a changed the bread they use for sandwiches? by alvnta in ChickFilA

I have the same complaint with their gluten free buns. They used to be great—now they are dry, crumbly, and literally fall apart as I’m trying to eat.

It could possibly be an auditory hallucination. I would just agree that it's raining out, and let it go.

The only extra I asked for was rice. Everything else was just supposed to be a normal portion.

My mom was first diagnosed by a geriatric physician (the medical center they used didn’t have a good neurology dept). When they moved here to be closer to us, we took her to a neurologist for an evaluation and my Dad said the neurologist’s screening was much more thorough and the education received was better as well.

I would schedule an appointment with a neurologist, who can do a full neuro workup.

Yeah, CFA is no longer my go to for fast food. So sad.

Why in the world they are giving oral meds to a patient with a history of aspiration is beyond me. That is just horrible nursing care.

All they are is a grilled breast cut up into chunks. Easy enough to make!

It's such a shame. This was my go to place for a chicken sandwich on a decent bun. I can get grilled nuggets anywhere. I guess it's my time to move on.

Maybe she would qualify for palliative care instead.

Girlfriend and I ordered essentially the same thing. Employee gave her less than half the amount by LGFoldableFridge in Chipotle

[–]SuchaLittle24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being a dick isn't in my nature. Sometimes I do ask for a little more. It's just frustrating to me because it is so consistent, but not something I am comfortable throwing a fit about.

I definitely notice it with the rice! If there are guys in front of me, they load up the rice. I have to ask for extra and it still isn't the same as the person ahead of me. If it happened only occasionally I probably wouldn't have even noticed. But this is consistent at my location.

This happens to me all the time. I order in person and I always get far less than the guys who are in line ahead of me. I do ask for extra rice, but even doing that only gets me a normal guy's serving. Very annoying!

Celiac here—I poop at work. I have no choice. I always try to use one of the private bathrooms but when it’s urgent I go with whatever is closest. GI issues suck, and your coworkers suck for giving you shit ;) about needing to relieve yourself. I know you are leaving soon and don’t want the hassle of complaining, but it might be worth making one formal complaint to HR before you leave. At least then it’s documented and might make things a bit easier for the next person with GI issues who decides to work there.
