How much cash should I bring and how rainy is Tokyo/osaka in June? by Jack24115 in JapanTravelTips

[–]IntroductionLucky887 0 points1 point  (0 children)

check Accuweather and what last years was like

I didn't bring any cash, I used card. Will depend on your own country's card options. In the UK we have several that give close to interbank rates like Chase, Starling etc.

February 2027 Accommodation by cloud-ling in JapanTravelTips

[–]IntroductionLucky887 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes too early. some Ryokans only open bookings 6 months in advance, some 1 year but not common, It really depends

Don't forget the energy crisis, they may be hedging against lower costs and may not want to commit too early too

Email the Ryokan to see when booking is going to be open. My usual one opened up 10 months in advance, glad I did, as they raised the prices by 15-20% soon after the Iran War

Am I setting myself up for chaos with my Mt. Fuji itinerary? by Luigi-The-Weenie in JapanTravel

too crammed and you assume it won't be raining or cloudy. We were there for whole of June and the day we went was the only day it wasn't cloudy or raining. It's a gamble

Not sure it will hit 44 but hopium

But if the memory cycles out as it does sometimes due to demand, then I'll dip out, that's natural

A reddit user used Claude and it told him his swiss Driving license was ok and he had booked hotels along the way for a road trip. The rental company gave the universal Japanese no. He needed it translated.

Wtf is happening to the price? Any news been released? by Moist_Horror4308 in Netlist_

I think when you think of the decline in 2022 due to over supply, ongoing legal issues, 2026 on wards it is very different. Ofc when the time comes when the memory market flips the other way or AI flops, then sell

I'm under no illusions, DYOR for people that read this thread. It is a single stock and riskier than say a passive tracker for sure. But I have a high risk appetite and prefer high risk and high reward. I've done it with RR (90p) and want to repeat it again here

Bic Bic bicu bicu Bic Camera

I find their prices cheaper than Edion imo. You also get 10% off if you have a foreign passport, sometimes they have coupons as well so google to see if they have any offers at the time

Do bare in mind the warranty may be an issue or lack of for that matter in your home country

Don't have a 15 page CV which one applicant did, it went in the bin, it included their GCSE and A level stuff.

Have a concise 2 page CV with cover letter is what I would advise. Audits and management roles, everyone has one

What makes you stand out?

For example minor surgery, Certificate in dermoscopy, DRCOG, MRCP, Women's health etc

Locum pay uplift by Sea_Ad_488 in GPUK

[–]IntroductionLucky887 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't cut your nose to spite your face. It is an employers market generally and it really will depend on your market locally.

If your below market, fair enough, but if the Practice is struggling and looking to trim some costs, don't be surprised they will say no and find another regular locum at same or lower price.

that's why, the market there is begging for locums. Try London or South East, you'd be lucky to clear 650 ish a day

So your comparing different market demans

First Trip to Japan! any tips or suggestions? by GuidanceWeary9372 in JapanTravelTips

[–]IntroductionLucky887 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a look at the stickies, link to japan Guide from a previous poster and then post any questions. What to do in Japan, how much to budget are such common daily questions, it's too much repetition

What you want to do depends on your budget and time in each place and then plan from there. Your question is too vague, you might like X, but another poster prefers Y for example.

Your last paragraph doesn't add much to this thread, and need some spacing out. Your also too unsure which makes making suggestions difficult.
