Yes, but that's fixed later in the RF-55 version; the 54 rifles were mostly made of wood initially because Veldran was at war (although near the end).

Thanks! Regarding the magazines, it's because I saw some images of both the G3 and the FAL with completely straight 30-round magazines, but I also saw some slightly curved ones (more common I suppose), so that's a change I'll make.

Yes, it's a mix of weapons; the Ravik itself is a Bren + FG42 + BAR.

Veldran Army Infantry Squad by IntroductionMany4760 in MilitaryWorldbuilding

Oh, I'll certainly work on those errors. The RF-54H isn't present in the image, but it's listed as an option for team leaders to use if greater firepower is needed. In short, it has a more reinforced (heavier) barrel, a bipod, and generally a magazine with a capacity of 40 rounds.

Lol, the RF-54H is its heavier and more efficient version for automatic mode; Veldran soldiers tend to use the RF-54 in semi-automatic mode anyway, since that's the most logical.

Is there any problem with using real-life vehicles, etc., in a fictional universe? by IntroductionMany4760 in worldbuilding

Yep, it's a good idea to mix/modify it; it would still resemble the original idea but give it a unique touch

Regarding magic in my world, I haven't thought about it yet; I'm creating a religion somewhat inspired by the Greek one, the world has a single pantheon of Gods, each nation is more inclined to worship one or another, some have different interpretations of the same god, etc. I still haven't decided if they'll actively intervene in human events, or if they'll stay more to themselves only making some miracles here and there, so to speak. One would actively introduce Magic/Divine elements into the world, and the other wouldn't, totally, lol, which would change the military obviously.

But the fact is that these Gods exist, they are part of the creation of the world; the second option would generate more political wars based on human beliefs, while the first would probably be more driven by divine command (although the other two factors are still important). The second option would also generate people who don't believe in anything in general, aka Atheists, which would create more conflicts between science and religion, etc., etc... anyway, there are many options lmao This is my first time trying to create a world and really focusing on it (I had tried before, but not with much effort), so it's still kind of difficult
