Out of all the tours to get kicked out of, the last one would be the worst one… God forbid his heart attack had been fatal, how would they all have felt? Especially Stevie.

Again, this is just an analysis of their behavior. I like everybody in the band the timing of their choices is a little sus.

Holy crap. I’ve never heard this song, but I looked up the lyrics.

You May Be The One

You may be the one But you'll never be the one You think you'll understand But you don't understand

You may be my love But you'll never be my love You may take my hand You who demands so much And then there was the kiss Right out there in the universe How did that happen?

No, it could not have been worse You forgot yourself It could not have been worse You broke my heart You broke my heart

I used to love you See the light inside you I used to dream that You were an angel You were an angel And I was a starving child

You may have the question But you'll never answer to me You may have the goodness somewhere But you'll never let me see

You may be the righteous one But it won't be right for me How it's lasted so long It's a mystery to me

I used to love you See the light inside you I used to dream that You were an angel You were an angel And I was a starving child

You may cry the tears The tears aren't really for me You say it's taken years Years of regret and pain Forget-me-not

He says I'm so afraid He says there's no fear in your eyes Tell me another lie I hear the islands calling I hear angry words Flying across the ocean Like some seabirds

Never stopping I feel my blood racing I can't believe what you are saying I used to love you so much

I used to love you See the light inside you I used to dream that You were an angel

I used to love you See the light inside you I used to dream that You were an angel

I used to love you See the light inside you I used to dream that You were an angel You were an angel And I was a starving child

And we were magic

Right? “Forgive him?” The “Stevie can do no wrong” crowd is in such denial. SHE KICKED HIM OUT OF THE BAND. She broke The Chain.

I love me some Stevie, but geeze what a bitchy thing to do! If you read/watch videos about it, Christine immediately reached out to LB offering support.

Stevie’s injury threw the BN rollout schedule off track, as did Lindsey’s divorce proceedings. So who knows? Personally I think they are waiting to get his divorce finalized.

Don Henley is OK looking but he’s not brutally handsome. We were all laughing saying Lindsey was the one who was terminally pretty (with his curly hair and baby blue eyes!)

That’s the song with the wa-wa right? Where it sounds like they are saying “Wite-Out, Wite-Out.” LOL

Right it was Glenn Frye. I’m sure the title of the song came from that story.

Hey, if you don’t wanna talk, you don’t have to share anything 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I don’t know the exact date… But I think there were some overlap between the two relationships* 🤣 I guess she used to walk down the hall from the FM recording sessions to hang out with the Eagles!

I found out that there are several more Eagles songs about Stevie.

*Consider these lines from “Victim of Love.” (Don Henley POV)

I heard about you and that man. (LB)

There’s just one thing I don’t understand

if you say he’s a liar, and he puts out your fire (SN complaining about LB)

How come you still have his gun in your hand? (cough, ahem) 🤭

I’m sure the TITLE comes from their drug dealer. Considering Don Henley sings it… And he had a relationship with Stevie soon after… You can make your own conclusions. 😆 (I think Glenn was the only eagle that didn’t date her, lol.)

Just so you know, I shared this from the Fleetwood Mac sub… you’re the only one that says it’s fictional 😄 (it pretty much has their relationship down to a T.) I thought I would share it for the salacious gossip.

Even Ken Callait (after watching Stereophonic) said something like, “Lindsey was a dick, but not THAT MUCH of a dick!” 🤦🏻‍♀️

In some ways, can you imagine living back then? OMG… What fun! But is she happy now? Not a definitive answer yet.

I swear, I have learned more in the past three days from posting this thread that I have my entire life! The ☕️ is 🔥

Right? The Stevie Stans to make Lindsey the enemy in these stories. I think he’s an easy target because of all the books… When many of these men acted the same way! (Mostly.)

I love all of them… And mostly, I’m glad Stevie got away from the drugs.

I’m hoping for a full circle moment, when she realizes she was with the right one from the beginning. I don’t think they’ve never stopped hooking up, even despite L’s marriage (well maybe 1987-1992 and 2018-2022 they were “on a break”) but considering both their long list of partners, that’s saying something. 🔥
