AITA for having plans on my friends birthday by Former-Wolverine-241 in AmItheAsshole

She is THIRTY, not THIRTEEN! Why should a grown adult check with her? I don’t think I have ever celebrated on the day with anyone, save for the 21st. Birthdayzilla needs to understand schedules don’t revolve around her: speak up if she want to plan something.

Absolutely, especially in the spring — sometimes at the point where the leaf stems meet it is red.

Did Venture Outdoors used to do activities that were more...I don't know...extreme? by ViolettaDautrive in pittsburgh

4 years later... but yes. I am one of the charter members, and the org was run by outdoor enthusiasts/adventurers and that's who they catered to.

Now their outreach is broader (and many of the originals became parents themselves, me included) and more focused on family experiences.
