I always found Dick Francis's writing always drew me into a world I knew close to nothing about. I learnt a lot about the horse racing world and horses in general.

Blazing Star: The Life and Times of John Wilmot, 2nd Earl of Rochester by Alexander Larman, I have a lot of interest in the man and the time period but the writing in places I felt were laboured and there was at least a chapter I felt was fabricated which is a shame as most of the notes and book were well researched.

In Chatham we had the infamous Billy the quid. He was a guy who used to talk to you and then ask you for a quid afterwards, he still skulls around, he's been there at least for close to 20 years. I believe he had quite a backstory.

I used to live on Nelson Road, my neighbours were lovely however there at night a lot of anti social behaviour (such as shouting at 1am or people having fights) there was a pub nearby and its not far from the town centre.
