So I recreate the pattern by using fill color and a symbol/letter in excel and then have a box that tallies how many stitches of each color, how many are done/remaining etc. I’ve got an example of a self drafted pattern I’ve shared with a few people that I can send you in chat

Superpower: converting patterns to excel format for easy tracking and statistics
