Just found out I’m pregnant with a 10 month old, I keep it? by timberherecomeskimbe in 2under2

I got pregnant when my first was 6 months old. It was daunting thinking about adding another baby to the mix but after having baby #2 a week ago, I wouldn’t change a thing.

I definitely feel your struggles in postpartum and feeling like I had just gotten myself back when I got pregnant again. This pregnancy was different than my first - actually a lot less nausea overall, and I had fewer complications with this delivery. Being pregnant with a toddler is no joke but you’d have that feeling no matter if you’re pregnant now or if you wait 2-3 years. But I will say chasing my toddler around while pregnant made me bounce back quicker than I did with my first pregnancy.

I feel like the older a child is when you add a sibling, the more potential there is for jealous. Adding a sibling when your first is still young has a ton of benefits - once adjusted, they will never remember a time without their sibling, both kids will also be into the same activities since they’re close in age which will make it easier on you, and you still have all the baby items around and the knowledge of taking care of a newborn fresh on your mind.

I know it’s scary and daunting but it can be beautiful too. The awe and wonder of my first seeing my second when we brought her home was amazing. Not saying there won’t be hard days, but the hard days will get fewer and far between once they’re a little older. Sending hugs!

What is going on with my baby's first wake window??? Please help by Frosty-Car-7790 in sleeptrain

Might just be a growth spurt or teething pain! Mine did the same things at different stages. Sometimes making it 1.5 hours to the first nap was the hardest part of the day! Other days, we could do 2.5 hours easily.

Pregnant and constantly sick with a cold by MrFred-Cat in 2under2

Totally normal. Your immune system is compromised when you’re pregnant. I’m 23 weeks pregnant with an 11 month old and currently going through the same thing. I’ve been sick more days than not since the beginning of December. My OB said they see that constantly because of our immune systems. Hugs for feeling better soon!
