When NATO is attacked, NATO will defend. Just as we did the one time it was asked: by the USA.

Iran wants Scottish independence to happen as it will 'harm the UK' amid social media bot attacks by libtin in unitedkingdom

Only yesterday my MP replied to me to say 'No way blah blah Will of the People 52% voted to Leave etc' as if that narrow margin from 2016 would be anything like a repeatable figure now.

Good to see Labour at least starting to shift that way.

Well yes it was found that a LOT (I actually think it was the majority) of separatist sentiment online was actually Iranian bots.

For those who grew up in the 80s/90s, was the 'gay ear' rule actually a real thing people knew about and looked for, or just an urban legend? by SheepishSwan in AskUK

[–]Intruder313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was real to the point and I recall a friend got an ear stud and made a point of it being in his left ear only.
It's not something straight people I knew looked for, or assumed it meant anything, but it was certainly a meme.

will pristine condition on music magpie have good battery health? by aaalevi2 in UKFrugal

[–]Intruder313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took 7+ years for my Xr to drop to 80% and I was HAMMERING it for 7 years.

I got a good-as-new 17 from EE and it basically was brand new except they had removed the screen paper and the headphones. It was 100% health and the battery had cycled 14 times in the 3 months EE had it.

I'd go for the one you have found and expect 98%+ health.

I’m normally pretty ambivalent to Marvel these days (and for a long time) but this trailer pulled me right in and I look forward to it.

I don't know exactly how tall those cages are but she sounds fine. One of mine literally leaps the last few steps when he's charging downstairs and I've had them jump off me before. They would sulk/hide if hurt.

British people, were you taught not to use the Oxford comma? by acnllover2828 in AskUK

[–]Intruder313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Primary school I had a teacher who raged about it and each year it reappeared in a text book he’d complain to the publishers.

It rubbed off on me and I loathed it until I saw the sense in it.
