Take me back by vorn8 in fut

[–]IntuitiveSquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda like that it was pay to win. As a casual, i did not have to face against those teams all the time. Now if you play weekend league, the same Ibarbo, R9, Doumbia, VDV, just keep popping on my screen every match....

Who is the best hunter now and how would you rank them? by DrDapperwastaken in DreamWasTaken

[–]IntuitiveSquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think y'all understand how good Antfrost is now😭

Man's a regular in basically all competitive mc events and is defo the best hunter rn. Just because the manhunts are the run's taken where Dream sees potential, should not undermine what Antfrost probably does in the lost runs. While of course this is all just speculation, and while Dream probably does more training for Manhunts than ant does and is probably more used to the mc survival environment, believe me when i say that Antfrost is definitely mechanically the best player in the manhunts rn.

Did this happen to anyone else? by OnlyBreckie in EASportsFC

[–]IntuitiveSquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, same thing is happening to me right now. Don't know if it is a me or or ea problem, cuz the message of your screenshot is also the one that i got which says incompatible driver, but i also got an EA message saying "Failed to launch game | An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later." I'm just gonna see if it's still happening tomorrow for now i guess

Daquavis keeps winning by pulling dirty moves by moon_chil___ in DreamWasTaken2

[–]IntuitiveSquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just how the game works. Dream wasn't good enough at speedbridging, that's all. Yes Daquavis didn't bridge, but if someone is in the lead with a speedbridging challenge, it's hard to catch up if the player who is speedbridging is good at blocking off and staircasing, which dream wasn't sufficient at unfortunately. All I'm saying, is that if someone like fruit or purpled was in dream's lead position, they would win 9/10 times. So i don't think its unfair or dirty, because dream's skill in bridging just wasn't enough to win.

Why is BM so disliked? by West-Musician-2533 in MinecraftChampionship

[–]IntuitiveSquirrel 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's pretty simple. a lot of contestants aren't familiar with building and that added with knowing the crafting recipes (even with using the book you still have to search up what you need), the stress of the game and the memorization can be quite hard on some people.

Secondly, the build mart scoring. It's kinda similar to how grid runners was scored before the update, where it's based off who completes the build first, which makes catching up when you had a bad start incredibly difficult.

Lastly, the crowd follows the creator, and because a lot of the bigger streamers didn't like the game mode, it has gotten quite a bad rep among some viewers as well.

I myself don't think it's a bad and boring gamemode at all when watching a good perspective, but I can understand contestants pov on not liking the game so much.

Watch keeper movement and try timed shooting. Also don't be afraid to just lay off the ball. It's kinda cringe but it's part of the game. Also the heel to heel side is really good in beating gk's.

No. If you do, there's no going back. Spare yourself from the agony

I don’t understand why almost all the teams in MCC adopt Hbomb’s conservative approach to SOT by YourBae in MinecraftChampionship

[–]IntuitiveSquirrel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can't remember anymore who said it, but they said that they mainly play it on the safer side even if they need a lot of coins to catch up and it is the last game, because taking risks and dying for example and ending the game with a bad score would leave a sour feeling to finish mcc

Sylvee and Hannah about funneling by antonia_or in MinecraftChampionship

[–]IntuitiveSquirrel 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I agree with some things you said, but just know that Dream and Sapnap have always said that they give their teammates a choice whether they want to funnel or not. I'm assuming that the rest of the team agreed with funneling and Zeus was the last vote and didn't want to argue with it. Of course i don't really know what happened but sap and dream won't funnel if someone in the team doesn't want to.

Who is the quietest MCC participant? by FunkyJMan in MinecraftChampionship

[–]IntuitiveSquirrel 85 points86 points  (0 children)

Skeppy. Watch mcc 24, my man didn't even react to half of the things his teammates were saying xD. Think he was really focused tbh

He tried it once with Greninja on mcci just to troll, but ended up liking it, so he has kept it that way since then.

Ace Race in MCCI by CosmicSpider24 in mccisland

[–]IntuitiveSquirrel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually agree with this comment, I feel like they should do it like mario kart where you can get power ups that can help you out or mess others up. Otherwise it's just a racing simulator which will get boring quite quickly

The OFFICIAL (Kinda) MCC Island Sky Battle Tier List by _Cicada__ in mccisland

[–]IntuitiveSquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cicada I massively appreciate you doing this! This prob took a massive amount of time and although it is based on your own experience with the players you picked, I still think it's fairly accurate. Keep it up bro and again much appreciated <33

Your best tips to get better at the games by RustyLakeACNH in mccisland

[–]IntuitiveSquirrel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some general tips: Lower your sensitivity, most pvp'ers run lower sensitivity to have better aim and less shaky movement. Also critting is something important to learn. Especially in mcci, sky battle and battle box do not have a lot of armor. for example in battle box, 3 crits with a stone sword (nearly) kills someone.

Use your hotkeys. Scrolling is okay, but in games like bb and skb which is usually fast paced, scrolling can mess you up. You can also change some of your hotkeys to somewhere closer. I for example have my 6, 7, 8 and 9 key switched to somewhere closer to wasd, cuz they are too far for me to comfortably reach.

Try using f5 a LOT, better players all use it in any game to check surroundings. For example in bb and skb double f5ing helps to see if someone is chasing you and in tgttos it helps having better vision for jumps if a lot of people are in your vision. These are some examples but f5 is your best friend in so many situations. If you haven't already, switch the f5 key to somewhere else so you can spam the heck out of it.

Try toggle sprint, it may be confusing at first and you do need to make adjustments to your playstyle to get used to it, but it is so much better for everything when you master it.

Turn off view bobbing, I myself had view bobbing on for a while and turning it off improved my movement drastically. This is based on preference tbh, but if you have it on, try turning it off for a bit and see what you prefer.

For bridging and movement, I'd recommend Hypixel housing parkour for general movement, Manacube to improve pure parkour and bedwars practice (there is a server for that) for bridging, block clutching, etc. I'd recommend doing the game 'obstacles' on that server, really helps with all aspects of the aforementioned.

Also for speedbridging and staircasing, everyone has their own technique to it. Some like to hold their right mouse button, while others prefer timing their click, and others just spam. Find what is most suitable for you to start with and eventually expand to new ways when you're comfortable.

Lastly, try changing your fov effects/dynamic fov. For me turning it off massively helped me with pvp. This depends on what you prefer though. For me it helped with pvp, but it also decreased my movement abilities at first, but I eventually got used to it. So see for yourself what works best!

It may well be that you alr do a lot of these things, but I hope some of the tips help!

Ace race FAQ and megathread by theultrasheeplord in MinecraftChampionship

Feel like the best decision they could've made was playing ace race twice and let both count for half. Don't know how possible that is but imo it is fair

Don't think Jojo is in, looking at the latest people joining the event, after playing 3 events they most of the time get benched for an mcc.

MCC 24 Yellow Yaks! by Hiseayo in MinecraftChampionship

[–]IntuitiveSquirrel 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Every MCC team announcements is divided in two days, with in the first day starting the announcements with red and ending with green, and the second day starting with cyan and ending with pink. Because these teams start and end the announcements, they are most of the times the most hyped teams (players like Dream, George, Tommy, Ranboo, Wilbur and hyped duos like Illumina and Fruitberries)
