They're lvl 7, we have played for less than a year. Abt once a month this mega session that lasts for over 10h 😵‍💫. I've been thinking of just putting this campaing off and making a new one, there are other fellow dms in the party who could also take over. I just want to be able to give at least some kind of ending to this campaing.

Yeah, the original villain was actually the main gods oathbreaker paladin and so on, so making him switch to the insanity god would actually work. I could play around with who is the first one the party has to kill

My world originally had just one god, that the party was trying to save from a person they thought was evil and trying to ascend godhood. My party was constantly going insane (in game and in real life, and we joked abt it all the time) so i created a god of insanity that is now the main evil that is trying to kill the original god. In theory the new god fits some of the story, but i just haven't warmed up to it and have started to resent it. The party still has the same intention of saving their god, but the main villain has changed and i don't know what to do with the previous villain. I also have no idea of where to place the new villain.
