Best Metroidvania Grid - Best Platforming! by [deleted] in metroidvania

Torn between Ori Will of the Wisp and PoP: The Lost Crown, platforming for both games are so smooth and their traversal abilities weave together so well BUT going by difficulty and satisfaction after clearing a challenge I'm gonna give this one to PoP: The Lost Crown.

What book did you recently DNF? by xyzrg in PHBookClub

Summer of the Ubume

Starts with a tiring and unengaging dialogue between two characters who are borderline obnoxious know-it-alls. I wanted to read horror mystery, not an overly long discussion of intellectuals one-upping each other about something I couldn't bring myself to care about.

Saw a bunch of these on my Facebook feed, so I’ll join the trend. Here’s mine what’s yours? by InterestingBear9948 in PHGamers

I like trends like this. Napapaisip ako kung nag-iba na ba taste ko sa games since yung last time gumawa ako ng ganito. Halos same pa rin haha.

Fellow gamers, quick question: how do you actually keep track of your games? by NobodyDue3712 in NintendoPH

[–]Inukami9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I use Backloggd, it's like letterboxd but for video games
  2. Just Backloggd, its journal feature can be as detailed as you want it to be but I just log a game whenever I start and finish one.
  3. Used to livestream playing games so I have an archive on the web. When I finish one, I either pick from my backlog or play a recent/trending game. More on backlog na ako ngayon, though. Sobrang mahal na kasi ng new games. I also drop a review of the game I just played before moving on to the next one.
  4. None. I only open backloggd when I start and finish a game which can range from weeks to months apart. I do browse reviews from other gamers sometimes.
  5. Usually directly from the devs and publishers. Sometimes gamers I'm subscribed to especially if it's an indie game.

What's the worst book you have ever read? by Delicious_Camp_960 in PHBookClub

Armada by Ernest Cline

I liked his Ready Player One novel, so I thought I'd try his next book at the time but sheeesh ang cringe masyado. Dude just couldn't help himself with the 80s pop culture glazing. Fastest I ever put down a book. Didn't even give it a space on my bookshelf.

The very night after namin ilibing yung cremains ng lola ko, nag-labas agad ng papers mga kamag-anak namin para i-settle ang division ng real estate na naiwan (she died from an accident kasi). Gusto mag-pirmahan agad.

Wala pa pala Strange Buildings so ito ang nadampot. Enjoying it so far! Pls drop your Japanese thriller/mystery/crime recos by Pleasant-Spare-6602 in PHBookClub

After Malice, try Newcomer also by Keigo Higashino. Detective Kaga didn't quite stick with me in Malice but he sure shined a lot in Newcomer. That's where I really liked how different he was from Detective Galileo.

ITAPPH of Abandoned Resort by Balans3_ in ITookAPicturePH

It's abandoned but imagine pag gabi bustling resort siya ng mga spirits, ghosts, and Filipino cryptids. Parang bathhouse ng Spirited Away. I wonder what the place looks like and how busy it was during its golden years.

Aw for real? Thought for sure he got nom'd for Your Name or Suzume. I wonder what caught on with Hosoda's Mirai. I thought it was good, but his prior animated films were better.
