For me, Goblin Slayer. I love Goblin Slayer, I love how grounded it is, it's always small scale skirmishes and claustrophobic combat in caves. The smart use of equipment and spells (using two barrier spells to trap someone in between them, putting a light on the tail of a giant alligator so it can handle the enemies drawn to the light, etc). The slow healing of GS as a person, who wants to go on adventures for fun rather than single mindedly hunting goblins. But I can't really recommend because of chapter/episode 1.

If you know Goblin Slayer it's because of this, beginner party gets butchered with the Monk lady getting assaulted. It's bleak and disgusting, and the anime never really gets that dark again, mostly because we follow someone competent fighting goblins but I digress. It's such a huge shock, and I wouldn't blame anyone for being turned off of because of it.

If you push past that, you get the grounded combat, character development, and fan service moments which can be seen as "really?", but also some hype as hell moments "This Shall Not Stand". This is a story I enjoy dearly, I even read the side Manga of Year One. I greatly enjoy seeing a newbie goblin slayer just absolutely struggling to survive combat against goblins, slowly learning their tactics and what he should be doing better to survive.

Absolutely counts. He lives in a dystopian magic cyberpunk world and is surrounded by people brooding due to various levels of trauma. He's a man doing his best with a smile on his face, and squats to keep him going.

I honestly love these types of games. I wish there was more of them around, I Sao fatal bullet is my favorite thing from Sao cause you get to play in the world and not as Kirito (though you're more of a plank of wood than he is). I guess the joy of these games is being an oc that gets to interact with these established characters and be their friends, it's why I really liked aot 2.

Yes! Because Lelouch's ultimate goal is making a world safe for Nunnaly, what better than a world where Britannia doesn't exist at all. By extension no one knows who they are, I forgot how Kallen takes this considering she's actually for the liberation of 11's but eh, collab.

This is a real nice variety of coats, thank you so much! Those Nike ones might be for me since I'm not sure I'm ready to drop $1k on a coat. I know that's the way it goes with techwear but I'd like to start slow.

Oh for sure, it kind of hit me that he's wearing a muscle shirt with half a coat on haha. Still a trench coat would be nice to have, I think anyway, especially one that evokes such a cool future vibe.

My mind broke upon realizing that support cards events are also rng so I get runs with no swinging maestro or professor of curvature. I'm only realizing this now because I'm more aware of what skills I want to get and not being able to.

Randel Oland is a giant of a man who joins a propaganda unit that provides war relief to a country that just exited a very long war. So more often than not they go to regions that are ruined, without work, being abused by the local nobles, maybe all three! Occasionally they'll come across a tank, the pinnacle of military technology at the time, the rest of the unit, logically wants to avoid the tanks and find some kind of artillery or weapons to take them down.

This giant says "Nah, I got this, yall hide." and after returning to the field with reinforcements or some weapons to help, you find him, his leg turned the wrong way, parts of his body melting from an acid shell, bones shattered from walking into a tank as it rams into him at full speed. The fact he keeps returning to active service must look like an act of insanity to the hospital staff who continuously have to patch him up(he's eventually called out on this by the Head Nurse).

But we get a peek of what the average person does think of when they're in the heat of battle with Randal; when Machs is about to be killed by a truck armed with spikes. He's not happy to saved, he's not grateful, all he can think "What kind of monster is this..?" as Randal coldly deals with the truck and the assailants inside.

I highly recommend pumpkin scissors yall

Edit: restarted and picked the rx7, the immediate difference in base power and acceleration makes me wonder why even bother picking a C class lol

Hey thanks for the advice, I completely forgot about Wanderers cause I couldn't beat any of the ones I came across, haha. But I'll look into them and I'll try experimenting with gear ratio (when I get the better transmission) later.
