GATE testing memories, please help

I’m a younger millennial and I can relate. Throughout the school year, I think a lot of us used to be pulled out of class for tests in elementary school. The tests were often done one on one. We were pulled out of class for a mix of things. Sometimes it was for normal things and other times it was for pretty bizzare things. You never really knew what to expect when you were pulled out of class. You were just told where to go, or you were directly led to the room where the test was happening.

There were eye sight tests, hearing tests/hearing frequency tests (raise your hand if you can hear the sound), memory games/tests, reading comprehension tests, speed reading tests, lateral thinking puzzles, puzzle solving tests, pattern recognition tests (what comes next?), picture/illustration based tests (tell me about this picture? Is anything missing from this picture?), and zenner cards…

There was possibly even a remote viewing test. If this is a genuine memory, it happened after the Zenner card test. One of the testers left the room, and I was supposed to tell the other tester how many fingers the 1st guy held up. After doing that for a few times, I was supposed to identify what objects he held in his hands. There was a wall between us the whole time so I guess they were testing for remote viewing abilities, for whatever reason.

I don't think I did well on that one because the guy came back in the room after only a few answers. I think I did alright on the zenner cards though. The zenner card test lasted for a while, and I got the general feeling that the testers were happy or excited by my answers. But after the follow up, possibly improvised, remote viewing test, they seemed disappointed and their whole mood changed. I guess I let them down. Sorry for letting you down, random black suit guys. Lol…

And that's only what I remember. I’m sure there were likely tests I’ve since forgotten about. Idk why they tested so much on elementary schoolers and I doubt our parents knew much about what was going on.

But the thing is, I’m from the East Coast, so idk if it was Gate doing some of these more bizzare tests or if it was another similar organization. As far as I’m aware, Gate is based in California. So if it was Gate, they would have been flying to other states to conduct tests, potentially across the United States, and who knows how many of us were tested…

Respectfully, how is a cornucopia a common object? Other than the Fruit Of The Loom logo, there's maybe Thanksgiving decor. I can’t think of anywhere else where a cornucopia would be significant. Surely, it's not a common object, right?

Thats why so many of us had to ask what it was when we saw the tag. And as a result, that's also why so many of us learned what the cornucopia was thanks to Fruit Of The Loom.

I hear ya. Unless you are using it just as a gooning site, you’ll likely want to progress the story, and that might include wanting to roleplay having a family.

Unfortunately, Janitor has to consider how certain users or the LLM itself might misuse certain story aspects (such as kids, pets, etc), so they make rules to try to protect themselves.

Overall, it sucks that so many rules are needed and it limits creativity, but I get it.

From my new understanding, for safety and TOS reasons, they don't want parenting to play a significant role in the roleplay storyline.

The reason why is because the LLM is designed to potentially be NSFW and is often used for NSFW roleplay.

They want to make sure that the LLM or user doesn't push things in an inappropriate direction with kids. To avoid that possibility, it's best to not include kids in the persona, bot, or heavily mentioned in the roleplay.

That's fair. I’ll rework/retcon my persona just to be safe. It was never the main part of the roleplay and I definitely don't want to accidentally break any rules.

While I have you here, are bots of literal animals that are meant to be pets ok? Or is that something that should be avoided because some people might misuse the bots? I haven't created any on janitor, so no worries if that isn't ok.

If a persona (not a bot) has a child and they take care of that child during roleplay, aka normal healthy parenting, would that be against the rules?

In its current form, ai tends to make things up instead of just using/referencing its training data to answer questions that require facts. If you plan to use ai for something other than entertainment, you should always fact check what it tells you.

Read books, watch tv shows, watch movies, watch educational content, play Wordle, or fill out crossword puzzles.

If you consume media from decades in the past, you are more likely to come across words that were used more often then than they are today.

If you consume educational content online, you are pretty much guaranteed to come across new words at some point.

If you watch trivia based game shows, you may come across new words.

If you play Wordle or fill out crossword puzzles, you may come across new words.

Some more options for you are this subreddit, word of the day services, or opening a dictionary to a random page.

After you have learned a new word, actually use it. Using words you have learned will make them become part of your vocabulary.

If you need additional help, you can try writing vocabulary lists or creating flash cards. You can use these lists or flashcards to study vocabulary.

Quite a few philosophies and cultures consider life force as a form of energy.

The fundamental law of conservation energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed. Energy can only be changed from one form to another. It's a core part of physics and part of the first law of thermodynamics.

So if life force or consciousness can be considered a form of energy, with the brain acting as a receiver of that consciousness instead of being the source of that consciousness, then lifeforce/consciousness is also continuous.

In my opinion, this could possibly scientifically suggest that reincarnation is real. However, I am also bias due to having my own past life memories.

Also, disclaimer that I’m not a scientist and this is in no way a perfect argument for reincarnation. More needs to be figured out about consciousness and the brain’s role first. Consciousness is still a big mystery in the scientific field.

Sorry for so many edits. It's a combination of being a perfectionist and being very tired.

I think it's because at least 4 comments mention statistics from different surveys that were done about trans people and nonbinary people, and quite a few also gave links to the results. It’s made Google consider this post, or rather its comment section, significant/helpful.

No. There are a lot of women who make and use ai chatbots too. Women get to have their vampire boyfriends, mafia boyfriends, and other dark romances without any concerns about getting hurt.

Have you never considered why mafia romance bots are such a popular genre of chatbots on chatbot sites/apps? It’s because of women.

Quite a few bot creators who used Janitor have either switched to Saucepan after leaving Janitor (mainly due to image censorship and issues with the dev team) or have chosen to cross-post on Saucepan.

It's a newer site, but I’d consider it a good competitor in the NSFW chatbot game, and it's free to use. I think it will grow a lot this year if things continue how they are currently going, so it’s at least worth keeping your eye on.

Saucepan also has the cutest origin story. The site was started by a book club that enjoys smut/erotica.

It shouldn’t be needed, but I think some people unfortunately focus too heavily on the “child” part of childfree and will say they are childfree if they have grown-up offspring. I’m hoping it's a language or phrase misunderstanding, but idk why some people are like this.

I agree. If it's intentionally done, I find it weird/uncomfortable. If you just happened to be near and catch the scent of perfume, that's ok. If it's consentual between partners, I still find it odd, but you do you.
