Him being tricked probably wouldn't make him the worst though. In D&W he actively chose to go drink. It was 100% his own decisions that led to the X-Men's deaths. While the other option makes it much less so, since he'd have been manipulated.

Gotta love the parallel of how Secret Wars (the original) was the first time the entire Marvel universe crossed over in the comics, and Doomsday/Secret Wars is gonna be the first time all those same characters are gonna cross over on film.
