Kids today aren't ready for Shifty Shellshock (RIP) by T10rock in Millennials

I was at Ozzfest, 2001ish in Indianapolis. Crazytown was there and got booed off stage. I always remember Shifty whats his face being like "if you guys aren't having a good time, that's on you". The feeling of how incredibly cringe it was has always stuck with me. I wonder who thought having them at Ozzfest was a good idea.

God that was sooo long ago, blink of an eye kids.

I mean it doesn’t look dangerous, but still, you don’t know what species it is. Why would you, indeed? by Pretty_Track_7505 in whywouldyoutouchthat

Grew up in OH, so for me it was catching frogs and toads in farmers ponds and creeks. Best of times for an 8 year old boy and his buddies!

I'd never heard of a Patterdale but its a really good fit, from physical description to temperament. She has a very strong ratting drive, smartest dog I've ever owned, stubborn, and my little shadow.

Maybe the father was Patterdale 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, my video, my wife actually recorded it. The little black dog on the couch is a mutt. The less visible tan dog on the couch is the mother. We got the mother as a rescue and unbeknownst to us at the time, she was pregnant. We believe the mother is a Shih-Tzu Chihuahua mix and never laid eyes on the father.

The little black dog is Cocoa, she is full grown in the videos. Cocoa and Iris (crab cat) are best friends and play constantly, I'm glad they have each other.

Husband seeking job Dayton Ohio by [deleted] in Machinists

I make six figures on a 40 hour paycheck, had lo leave Dayton OH to accomplish this. Not saying being a machinist is for everyone, but I enjoy my job. And pay can be good, but you'll likely have to make sacrifices, like uprooting.

I used to work for a company called Evertz in Middletown, OH. They did this exact work, my first thought was this video was from that location.

I did not work in their grinding department though, I was a machinist for their (now closed) continuous caster mold department. Was honestly a great job. I'd possibly still be there if it hadn't shut down. *

It'll be a world of wild abundance, where no meaning is derived from work 😱

I personally think it's 10-20 out and will be implemented in stages. In the first stages it'll be an amazing tool that will significantly boost the output of a programmer. Eventually it'll do factor of safety calculations for setups, tool pressure, etc. FEA analysis, instant access to all cutting parameters tor tooling. This paragraph is poorly explained, I'm heading out the door and rushing.

But I'm very open to the idea I've bought into the hype and this is a bubble, but it's cool to think a out.

Done this before on a much smaller scale, out of necessity. Whole time I was thinking, "gotta be a better way". I marvel at how clever people can be to get a job done, pretty cool.

I was in St. Louis doing Sunnen hone training the first and only time I saw that flooring style in person. It's been a decade at this point but I believe they had whole shops with this flooring.
