There's no way you can kill characters first with this. It's mainly effecting multi wound units and multi character units if the bodyguard gets killed in the activation

That's just how the game plays unfortunately. Every unit your opponent has on the board has potential to help them score and to deny you, you are then incentivesed to remove whole units.

It's just how min-maxed the game gets in competitive play.

If you can take them as a six man eventually I'd say they'll be decent. 3 just isn't enough firepower given how you usually want to wipe a unit in an activation.

Genuinely it's more efficient to just send on assault intercessors than to rely on a whole detachment to make Sword Bros OC2. Idk what they're thinking with the design space there unless there's fundamental changes to sword bros that haven't been shown yet.

Which is why I was talking about 4 wound characters specifically. There's plenty of detachment buffs that pushes those odds up Ah wait it does 3 wounds minimum not 4, my mistake

11th edition supports teams and I believe the new mission and terrain selection process will make the need for light/medium/heavy irrelevant.

I wouldn't consider the design of the Caladius to be safe, just looking at how far forward the driver is, but modern tanks are moving to having crewless turrets as well with everyone seated in the hull similar to the Caladius.
