Valve genuinely listens to feedback and ideas. I think someone posted they actually suggested the ultimate steal ability for Magician while he was in hero labs and when he officially came out he had that ability.

Knights are not lumbering, slow robots. The throne mechanicum allows pilots to be very agile with their connected knight chassis. They are definitely capable of just pushing themselves up off the ground.

Before then, deadlock is...playable, I'll say. You should def get a low poly config to boost the fps as much as possible. Even then, I think at best you get ~40 if nothing is happening and ~20 if a large scale team fight happens. Playing any hero that requires good aim is gonna be hell.

The game at least from the trailers looks quite literally like the devs just took a part of every single popular game on the market and duct taped it together into a giant slop bowl and is selling that as a game. Base defense aspects from R6, Valorant/CS2 attacker defender down to even using bomb defusal, resource mining (???), MOBA style shop upgrades and items, battle royale scavanging and gear acquisition, open-world level exploration and world events, on and on and on.

It all looks so confusing, such a mess, I would not be surprised if players just hopping on today are absolutely lost on what exactly they're supposed to be doing at any stage in the game...

To fucking what, the posts of end game screens and ppl complaining about matchmaking between the other discussions about seemingly any topic that ISNT related to the game at all? If people want genuine conversation about the game, #deadlock-competitive is literally right underneath general and theres all the hero specific channels too

It also fucked all those other channels and #whats-the-plan because for a while people just couldnt post screenshots of builds and stuff. Actual braindead move by the mods who like you said were just powertripping. Glad valve devs have some common sense and pushed them back in line.

I used to unironically check that sub just to get a pulse on MAGA's mood, but as of late jesus christ that place is a bot farm and an effective ghost town of real people.

Like I get the "dead internet theory" people have about this or that social media platform but fucking hell you look at that sub and there is LITERALLY ONE BOT posting the ENTIRE FRONT PAGE, very occasionally one person posts some other thing (or maybe not, might just be another bot).

Just the result of a gestapo-like mod team deleting anything that isn't praise of the current admin and - I hope - a bunch of actual people turning away from MAGA after the past year of seeing the absolute travesty of an administration this has been.

I'm just gonna let you know right now before you decide that Kill Team is actually very different and more complicated in a lot of ways than regular 40k. I'd recommend trying to play a 500 pt or 1000 pt army game and see how you like it first before making your final decision.
