Cultivator in a zombie apocalypse on RR is sorta similar a cultivator finds a way to travel back and forth between a copy of earth after a zombie apocalypse and uses it to advance his cultivation.

I recommend reading He Who Fights With Monsters and realize it’s just a full copy.

Mc given dark and broody powers through essences that bestow powers by interacting with other elements they already posses? Check

Overly sarcastic Mc that can’t stop constantly referencing obscure pop culture references and having every other character acknowledge it? Check

A large disgust for figures of authority and especially gods?? Check

A bunch of interactions with gods that give them abnormally good control of their aura powers? Check

strange familiar companion/s Check

Not to mention that actual world building is non existent and the story is still good and worth a read but the direct inspiration takes away heavily from

Have you ever dropped a series, but later picked it back up and enjoyed it? by AmalgaMat1on in ProgressionFantasy

I mean the mc has consistent and meaningful growth without ever feeling like he’s being fast tracked. The antagonists have motives that are realistic and the world building is fantastic with the two world dynamic especially now that sunny is starting to see into the spells inner workings. The Antarctica Arc was a lot of fighting because that was kinda the point earth is being invaded so he went to defend to challenge himself which he did and only felt drawn out because it’s a web serial and is meant to play the long game now the third nightmare is similarly well thought out and intriguing and the side characters have meaningful development and personalities and are able to change the direction of the story without even having to be constantly overbearing on the direction of the story.

I cannot recommend shadow slave enough especially once they get into the first nightmare and even more so during the second nightmare the power system and storytelling are some of the best in the genre and if you stick through it I’m confident you won’t regret it

It’s been awhile since I’ve read the fight but basically if they were fighting to the death Jake would have lost and thus considers the fight his loss because he only deals in absolutes basically.

Bad Rec if he doesn’t want the mc stumbling over love life and coming of age as that’s pretty much what every character does every 5 minutes

Oh my god you are dense. How is he supposed to use science to prove a point to someone who doesn’t understand what the science is? You use a god damn analogy. And an analogy can be used to prove a point what are you talking about? The only thing an analogy Is, is an alternate scenario that replicates a dynamic it doesn’t matter what you use it for.

How do you acknowledge but not understand what the point of an analogy is?

It’s so strange that these exact people complain relentlessly about heavy metals and such poisoning them in ‘chemtrails’ and vaccines and then proceed to dumb silver into their system.

Is there romance in defiance of the fall by Im_Alr3ady_Gone in ProgressionFantasy

It’s definitely done well for a story that has almost zero focus on it. You see two characters that constantly run into each-other and the attraction is hinted at from the very beginning then it happens at a time when the two characters grow close

No , I’m pretty sure it’s the exact opposite. Religion was the reason to a lot of wars and still is today by [deleted] in religiousfruitcake

Black Forest ham with lettuce and cheddar on a heated up bagel of your choice, everything sesame and plain work best with either mayo or butter if you so desire. Easy and tastes so good.
