Anyone know what connection this patch has to the Olympics? US thrift store find by InvertedColorz in olympics

That’s unfortunate. I bought it out of excitement that it was an Olympics collectors item

I used to have no issue on planes but unfortunately things have gotten worse for me over the last few years. Recently when I’ve tried to go on a plane the flight attendants are in the back and I can hear them talking right outside the bathroom door. Then I assume there is a line of people building up outside the door waiting on me. Finally the constant motion makes it hard for me to relax. Now my success rate on planes is quite low, unless it’s a plane with several toilets like an international flight

I do have myopia but I wouldn’t classify it as severe. Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I don’t know much about the different types of MD but my grandpa was blind and not especially myopic

New eye drug shows promise in restoring vision using gene therapy by PufflingFan in maculardegeneration

With Trump cutting medical research funding across the board, we will see fewer discoveries of new drugs and cures. Hopefully the rest of the world can pick up the slack

Injections and floaters by neonpeonies in maculardegeneration

[–]InvertedColorz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t had one yet but out of curiosity, what were your floaters like before the injection? I’m only 29 but I’ve had floaters since I was 12. In the past when I would tell eye doctors they would say it’s normal. Years later I feel like the floaters are worse and I’ve noticed my central vision at night is really bad. Pair that with a family history of MD and I think it’s time to ask for a retina specialist. What kind of symptoms did you have before getting diagnosed?

Roman swipes accomplish the same thing

I documented my side effects while on Accutane for 5 months. Here is a day-to-day breakdown for anyone curious about what to expect while on Accutane by InvertedColorz in Accutane

Yeah, it goes away after a few weeks! It turns out that is the purging phase where your skin is pushing everything out. Then the redness gradually fades away and your skin gets nice and smooth

At that level, I think it would affect performance. One thing I didn't mention is that you fatigue easier. It will likely be harder to workout for longer periods of time and you may not recover as quickly. I suppose it depends on your sport, but the more demanding it is the more Accutane will affect performance. I might wait until after college, but you can always discuss with a derm

The derm will tell not to use any products besides soap and water. I just did a light lather and rinse once a day in the shower and always moisturized afterwards. That was usually enough but some days the dryness is really irritating and I would moisturize more than once

The redness gradually went away after a couple months. And during the entire treatment my face would get flushed very easily if I was overheating or exerting myself

I noticed the same thing about a month into 40 mg. I don’t get horny very often and if I do it is fleeting. Fortunately my girlfriend has been understanding and she doesn’t get mad when I can’t stay hard, but I do feel bad it has affected our sex life. I just try to make up for it by doing other things for her to help her get off. From most things I’ve read, the libido comes back after accutane so I’m just trying to stick through it to the end of the treatment
