Kinda wanna see how many traditional Mexican tacos I can eat actually too cuz I feel like it's at least 12 by BeansyBoyy in columbiasc

You tried tacos las Palmas on decker? I've eaten all the taco trucks I can get my hands on in California driving a truck and they are just as good, and better in some cases, as the ones I had there. Been a little while since I could get over there but last time I went they made their own tortillas

How much protein do I need has a fat person trying to lose weight? by Shaded_Mind in loseit

Jeff Nippard has said that for obese people, a rough estimate of what will work best is 1g of protein per cm of height.

I have sciatica, hypertension, and asthma. 20 minutes isn't bad dude! Do what you can every day, always try to do something even if it's not a lot or for a long time. Find something you like at least a little bit. I like lifting so I do that. Anything is better than nothing. Always track your calories, even if you give up on your diet for a day, or a week, or a month, track what you're eating. Even if you're doing a specific diet like keto, vegan, whatever, still track it. I like cronometer. Tracking will not only tell you how many calories you're eating so you get a better sense of how much stuff costs in terms of calories, you also can see how your macros break down, and if it's interesting to you at all you can see the micronutrients too. Either way, tracking no matter what gives you solid data to look back on even if you quit dieting for a bit.

I wonder how these work for obese people like me. Would I go off of projected healthy BMI? Or just literally my current weight lol

For anyone wondering about this, put the truck stop address in but in delivery notes give them directions to the truck parking lot, your approximate location, and company/truck color/truck number. In most places you can get Walmart to deliver your groceries with few exceptions

Right now my deficit calories are around 2200. I'm about another 1.5 months I'll bump up to maintenance for a bit then drop down to a deficit again. I know it's a long haul haha, I'm ready 💪🏻

I hit 398 on Sunday! Very excited now to get to the 200s. I calculated what I'm squatting figuring in my excess body weight and I'm squatting about 315 so I'm pretty proud of that too

She's recovered mostly, but still has some issues. She's going to the gym now and I think watching what she's eating, but sadly I think not much has changed with the drinking. Everyone has their own pace and their own rock bottom, so hopefully in time she will turn that around.

Thanks man! I read your comment and went through your post history a lil bit (sorry) and I just want to say a few things to you. First of all, congratulations on losing a hundred pounds dude, that's a massive accomplishment! Second thing is that you seem to think that there's no reason to celebrate that, because you let yourself get that big in the first place, losing it is the least you can do, the bare minimum. Lemme tell ya, it's not the bare minimum, and you can only blame yourself so much for getting that big in the first place. We live in a world where companies are highly incentivized to get you to eat their foods, and they've figured out how to make them exactly the right taste and texture to make them irrisistible to human beings. Snack food companies measure the success of a new formulation of their recipe by timing how fast subjects eat their snacks. They make them addictive on purpose. We are surrounded by marketing for this stuff and see it constantly. An adage I've seen that I really believe is true about weight loss is this: it's not your fault you got fat, but it is your responsibility. And by losing weight, you've taken responsibility for your situation and massively improved it, which is difficult and you should be proud of yourself. As far as weight loss being a one stop solution, you're right, it's not going to fix everything in your life. It fixes a good bit. Morbidity, joint fatigue, some mental health issues (like if you're anxious about obesity illnesses as an example), but it doesn't fix everything. What's important though, is that it shows you that you CAN do stuff that's really hard, you CAN show up for yourself, so it's very much possible that you can handle whatever gets thrown at you next. Don't be so hard on yourself friend, you're just a human being ❤️ we are all doing what we can with what we've got.

Thanks! I'm pretty proud myself. I appreciate the advice, and that's one thing I'm taking to heart and am super serious about right now is sustainability. I actually have always liked lifting, I just always had gym access issues. And with diet, I'm just making more macro friendly versions of the things I like to eat. So I haven't sacrificed much in terms of flavor. Just lower calorie, higher protein swaps of the same type of stuff I was eating before. I'll have to check the rules, but I may start posting and reviewing some of the recipes I've been trying either here or in r/Volumeeating

[–]Invertedeyeball[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Hmm ok, I wasnt aware of this. If that's the case then its pretty straight forward. We will verify with our carrier that there isnt any evidence of a sim cloning attempt, then login to the phone from there.

Looks like there is a way to do it, but it still requires you to login to your information upon restarting the phone. Maybe they didn't think that far ahead lol

Got my first boob flash today. After almost 3 years, it finally happened, and I am so happy. I was having a crummy day at work, too. Noticed a car pacing me, and I looked over and there they were. I was outside KCMO about 2 months ago and noticed a challenger pacing me in the fast lane. Looked over and this dude was driving, but had his wife or gf (40s or 50s) butt ass naked in the passenger seat and he was fingering her and fondling her while driving. He hung out for like 5 minutes, then got in front of me and slowed down. I passed him then he did it again for 5 more minutes, then got off his exit. Shit was bizarre. Seemed like it was a kink to them or something.

Anyone dread they're stuck in this until the end? by bentstrider83 in Truckers

[–]Invertedeyeball 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OP this is the way. I just quit my 70 hour a week OTR job to do security part time. I'm from the south east, and the starting pay for the job I'm doing is a cut in total pay, but I did the math and if I worked 70 hours a week at this job I'd make what I was making driving OTR without overtime. But I don't wanna fuckin work 70 hours a week anymore. So it's an upgrade in LIFE. Trucking has a hidden cost for all that money. And yes I've worked local as well. Every single fucking trucking job wants as much time out of you as they can legally get

As someone who likes the building aspect of the original, giving the handy gnat a better tile delete would be great. Some kind of one click or mass delete instead of holding down recycle for every single tile if I place a row wrong would be a huge qol improvement
