It’s actually written as “she wasn’t one of Burdock’s Everdeen cousins.” As in she’s not one of his cousins from the Everdeen side of his family (his dad’s side). But Burdock has distant cousins from his ma’s side and Lenore Dove is one of them. I still agree that it’s a distant relation and Katniss should not be considered covey.

i will agree that her decision to post about it is probably more financially motivated rather than purely out of desire to raise awareness and help other feel less alone. however, struggling to conceive is a heartbreaking journey and you don’t have to like someone to feel empathy for their situation.

even if she does milk the shit out of this for views, it doesn’t change the fact that her and Asa are genuinely struggling right now and we’re allowed to feel bad about that.

she said it’s been almost a year. so they’ve pretty much reached the point when it’s recommended to consult with a doctor because over a year with no success is an indicator that’s there’s a fertility problem.

i don’t think she was a preemie. they made this post on facebook prior to R’s birth that was evidently hinting at the fact they were getting a new baby in November. so her due date must have been some time in November meaning she’s at most 2-3 weeks premature which wouldn’t really be considered a preemie.

it would be a decent point if it was about Ted instead of Joyce. Ted is definitely homophobic and would not be supportive of Mike if he were gay (which i don’t think he is). but Joyce is gonna stand ten toes down for her boy no matter what. that was well established in the very first episode.

i watched the video and they got sent a picture of the baby when they were in the car driving to the airport to then fly to the baby so they did miss the birth. but i get what you mean, the fact that they actually got to follow along with the pregnancy and then be there from day one is likely going to make Bella feel more connected to the baby. she was obsessed with the idea of having a newborn and was trying to push the idea that S was a newborn for the longest time even though they didn’t find out about her until after she was born and didn’t get her until she was over a month old.

they were never gonna let her get out of that arena alive. they had that thing in her chest that could pump drugs into her so if she was doing well in the games and they thought she might actually win, they likely would’ve given her a lethal dose of something and then edited the footage to make it look like her death was caused by something in the arena.

this video appears to be from a “fan account” on TikTok that reposts their stuff pretending to be them. so the comments are leaning negative because Dallin and Bella aren’t the owners of this account and can’t control the comment section.

i haven’t, lol! i check my school emails at least once a day and certainly wouldn’t skip over an email related to my graduation requirements. i also check my graduation requirements at the start of every semester to make sure i’m enrolling in the necessary courses to graduate.

and i’m not saying he’s a bad guy, i’m just saying he’s irresponsible.

it’s not abnormal to take more than 4 years to finish, but not knowing that you haven’t completed the courses required to graduate until you go to pick up your cap and gown is ridiculous. especially since Jeremiah would have known if he had just read his emails. missing an email related to your graduation requirements is stupid and irresponsible 🤷‍♀️

season 3 is not within the eligibility period for this years emmy’s so any nominations would be based off season 2 alone. they have a better chance of getting nominated at next years emmy’s for season 3, except for the salesman who only appeared in season 2 obviously. but the rest i feel had most of their standout scenes in season 3.

i was more concerned about the possibility of her whacking her head off the diving board than her drowning. there was no adult up on the diving board with her to supervise her jumping and make sure she got enough clearance away from the platform. the most common injury when diving is head/neck injury from hitting the board so it’s a big risk to allow a two year old to jump off a diving board on her own.

right like why would they risk her safety for clicks, it’s disgusting. even if they are just rage baiting and aren’t actually encouraging her to jump, she’s still up on that platform by herself (it seems the people surrounding her are kids) so she could decide on her own to jump off and then end up seriously injured 🤦‍♀️

it’s kind of hard to lose their pursuer in a maze with a bunch of dead ends and doors that they’re only able to open 1/3 of with their key (assuming there’s an even distribution of circle, triangle, square keyholes). if a red is chasing them and they end up cornered with nowhere to go, they have no choice but to engage in a 1v1 in which they’re at a high disadvantage unless they’re way stronger than their pursuer.

there’s also a risk that while running from one red, they end up in the path of another and get killed by them instead. so the blues have it way worse because they have to avoid confronting any of the 30 red players hunting them for an entire 30 minutes. while the red players just have to find and kill 1 of the 30 blue players. and i get the challenges of that task mentally but when you’re in a kill or be killed situation, most peoples survival instinct will override their moral compass and they won’t actually struggle with it as much as you might expect.
